My ex and I actually got back together after being apart for 9 years. We have 2 kids together, so we’ve always been around each other. We broke up mid argument over something dumb, bc we were so young and immature. We’ve grown over time and learned that we are indeed each other’s person. ❤

It's a fascinating concept to be "in love" with someone and not wanna be monogamous with them. I'm not invalidating her feelings, i've just never thought that was possible.
The majority of people will, at least occasionally, have a desire to have sex with other attractive people. Even when in love. People in love even cheat.
The difference with poly people is that they both acknowledge AND accept this in themselves and their partners, and find a way to date that allows for that openness and exploration.
It's not easy to do ethically, but it's amazing when you start to get it down.
