This version has so much more energy. I like when he really starts to scream at the end of the chorus. I'd love to see what Trent can do in a metal band to mix his vocal style in with some brutal growls.
I’ve watched this time and time again. And everything is on point, but the drumming. The drumming just stands out to me, and that end is just perfect 👌🏻
I love to write drum parts on a drum machine 1st, THEN play those on a real set of drums. You can write some crazy complex stuff, and then with the live drum sound it's very cool sounding. I've always appreciated that with NIN/Trent. You need chops to pull off some of these songs on drums (take Perfect Drug for example, drums are crazy on that).
