Thanks for that tip on the Sea-Tech check valve.I have been stocking up on extra parts to try to service my own rv/trailer.I thought they were all brass.I also used about 4 tubes of Dicor this summer both self leveling & non sag.Cheap insurance.Take the time to check your roof & seals.Keep the vids coming this stuff is gold if your willing to watch & learn.Love your passion for the trade it’s inspiring.
Hey Darren! We're having a blast binge watching your awesome videos with a big bowl of 🍿😄💯✌️. Do you have a video showing how to replace a roof vent cover with the proper sealant? Thank you!
Thank Darren for answering my question. I liked the possible solutions for replacing the inline ck valve. Right now i have the ck valve out completely.
My travel trailer is about 8 years old now and have always taken care of the roof so no leaks have ever happened. Recently, I started using Flex Seal paint in a can and this has worked out much better than "RV" roof products. My roof doesn't look new, but then again, how many people can see my roof!
Love your content. I have learned at ton from your videos. I am a new RV owner and I have a question about my roof. I don’t know what kind of roof (material)I have and can’t find out for some reason. I have a Forest River Wildwood hyper Lite 24rlhl. Which is 30’ from tongue to bumper.
Great video look forward to l learning from you I had my windows recently broke do you know where I can get a replacement for a Ford E350 echoline or also do you know if you can put plexiglass instead of glass thx also I'm in the Los Angeles California area
When using the ProFlex,, I’m gonna start touching mine up this weekend since it’s over a year old.. and sits on a permanent site that gets a lot of sun on one side.. should I clean the area first with mineral spirits then after I apply the ProFlex dab a little mineral spirit on my finger, to smooth it?
Hate to disagree, but Tiffin glass filled fiberglass and Winnebago fibron (fiberglass sheet) roofs require Silicone. Specifically, Nuflex 311, aka Heng's self leveling silicone. This stuff lasts a very long time. Nothing will stick to it though except silicone. Dicor will peel right off. Love the channel.
Like Darren said…..those products are for EPDM or TPO covered roofs, which is what most campers have. Motor homes and some of the more expensive rigs use fiberglass roofs. Yes they require silicone sealant.
Yes, please, if you could do a video on your tips in using the Proflex sealant, that would be great 😄
I really enjoy your stuff, especially when you get a little off track and then reel yourself back in. Thanks for what you do.

I love this channel!! How about 15 to 20 minutes instead of 10min? I'm sure there's plenty of subject matter to fill the time.
