the egg spell i feel like is pretty unappreciated at times, i once put circle of water in an egg as a clutch kill move in the coal pits, as soon as i saw one of those damn fire fly spawners i made sure they regretted crossing my eggy path...
Didn't care for the hollow eggs mostly, had no idea you could catch them! Seems pretty nifty, could create a few extra "spells" in the holy mountain before putting the egg spell back in your inventory and having four wands and some egg spells that are different from how the four wands are set up. Love all the crazy little things you can do in this game
These explosions look just like the ones from the explosive projectile modifier - seems to be the same mechanic. So I have to wonder - could you put EP on top of this build to increase the damage even further?

Really cool combo I found the other day is Nolla + death cross. Using Nolla on 4 crosses using quad cast, plus a fixed wand with spark bolt trigger was enough to kill most of the hell enemies in half a second or less, even with no damage modifiers. You will need a wand with a lot of mana regen, though
Long ago I made a wand with some combination of Electric Arc, mist and I think Lance but it might have been something else with Drilling shot/Matter eater, Piercing and homing shot. Dont really remember the exact combination, it was not the best wand but it just looked nice, the Mist was the first Electric Arc pair and it was stationary close to the caster and the Lance was the 2nd Electric Arc pair which flew into walls/enemies causing a big Electric Arc between them. It just looked like emperor Palpatine was walking around throwing lightning at everything since the lightning looked like it was shot from the character.
I know I did a drilling/piercing/damage field/damage field/homing/homing/multi/bouncing shot/bouncing shot wand once and it basically just did the scene from Guardians of the Galaxy 2 where the arrow kills everyone on the ship. Only needed like one every ten seconds.
Just tried it during 2.0 release and it didnt work, i had to use a spitter bolt with the two slime coulds for it to arc. Very strange, dont know why that is
I think my favorite combo I ever managed was drilling homing mist with personal lightning storm and personal fireball sprayer. I _think_ every tick of mist was applying personal lightning storm, and every tick of every personal lightning storm was applying personal fireball sprayer. Most enemies just died instantly, and then the mist would wander off after someone else to kill.
my favorite combo is something similiar. Any circcle of X (shielding, thunder, stilllnes) + homing + any damage modifier. It persists and goues through walls. Kills everything in sight and not in sight. It also works with mist but not as effectivly.
Thank you for the information. I have fallen down the rabbit hole with Noita. Having more knowledge for wand crafting is extremely helpful in my current God Run. Just so happens I have been using electric arc, with poison mist just hanging out in my storage wand. With your help I can now make a much more devastating wand to carry into NG+. Just need to find a strong enough combo to wipe out 34 Orb Kolmi. Any suggestions? I heard poison trail on a wand and a powerful accelerated bouncing shot wand will be sufficient?
Make sure to grab some “Crit on” modifiers (besides burning) as they are a super reliable method to killing the 34 orb boss. The 33 orb boss killing wand mentioned on the wiki should do the trick! It’s the first wand on this guide: noita.fandom.com/wiki/Peaceful_Ending_Guide
Holy cow I have a run going right now where I have two whiskey mists just sitting in the holy mountain because I'm not sure what to do with them and I just found electric Arc like 15 minutes ago in the run, I know what I'm doing when I get back on
The first thing is stated in the stats, reduces recharge time by 0.17 seconds. Second one is kind of secret, but it's arguably the strongest part of the spell: if you put it at the end of a casting block, its cast delay will be set to 0. Not reduced by a fixed amount like with lumi drills, just straightup nullified. It only costs 1 mana too, making it by far the most powerful and efficient way to make super fast firing wands. Usually what you want to go for is a wand that casts every frame, and chainsaw allows you to achieve that easily
@@DunkOrSlam Thanks for the reply! The type of mist wasn't really the point as I assume the arc works on any mist? Replace "slime" with "blood" in my question. "Trigger spark + homing shot + lightning arc + critical on bloody enemies + dual cast + blood mist + blood mist". Does the lightning arc crit in this case? You said that lightning arc damage counts as environmental, so I wondered if it can still deal critical damage
I have never found the other arcs to be that great. They have their uses but nothing near the level of electric arc. Maybe one day someone will find some lethal combination that changes that!
Was this nerfed? I just tried doing this in a run and the mists weren't activating the electric arc. It worked with one mist and another projectile, but not two mists
Copied the mist spell but it didn't work. Three differences are that I'm using a spark bolt trigger, short-range homing, and mist of spirits, instead of the exact spells in your recipe. Not sure why not, but I think mist of spirits might be why. EDIT: mist of spirits won't work for this. darn
Oooh I heard about egg-spells, but didn't know a good way to weaponize them. There is one very *very* good reason to carry egg spells with you... when you get polymorphed, you drop your eggs. So when you get turned into something, now we can have arc-mist chasing the enemy that poly'd us. Should drastically increase the survivability.
@@DunkOrSlam created a combo of fireball orbit, spells to power, arc, homing, all on infestation. Shot that into a room and everything died unless it was the luki layer. Went to 6 parallel worlds before I died to a poly master snipe
I got my first god wand the other day, plus I had phasing, bouncing projectiles, and other crazy good perks. I was slaughtering the Hissi effortlessly only to fall in a polymorphine puddle and burn myself alive. What a wonderful game.
on my second win opportunity i had a really good wand, and at the boss battle there was a god right outside the mountain. I hit him and he bled teleportatium, and sent me into the lava lake and i died instantly.

My..studies have shown me that I should never use unsafe spells. Either be immune or miss out, or it WILL backfire eventually.
I remember doing something like this with a luminous drill casting a circle of stillness, then also firing some saws.
Are you certain this still works? I just made a wand and it failed to arc between the mists.

I should have clarified, not just a regular drill but the modifier called “Drilling Spell” will make it so the mists can travel through walls.

i think this only works with slime mist, maybe toxic mist. whiskey mist did not work that well for me.

Gunpowder arc is fun to use. Poison arc is pretty effective, but its dangerous to use.
And here I am sitting, thinking trigger bolt + homing + plasma beam was a simple and genius idea to carry you through the game.
