    I'm watching it, when you enable the particle size check the randomness of the pscale is lost, does that mean that we cannot have grains of different scales?

    great tutorial! How about a tutorial using grains to make explosions - the kind you see on beaches or in deserts

    this is great!! I'm just wondering how I can change the form of the actual grain? where can I input for the grain to be shown as a specific objects? like a nuts or a rasberries?

    Hi, excellent tutorial very apreciated, I have a basic question that its give me problem, I have 3 objects ( same OBJ import file) sharing the vellum solver, I want the 3er object star the simulation in a certain frame, I keyframe it but nothing happends, the simulation star in frame 0, if u can give me a tips would be apreciated

      Use a DOP network setup with three Source nodes. You can animate each activation separately.

      works for me! thanks, houdini is really hard, and even more hard if your not english speaker 😅, I will keep in tone with your future content

      @@TheNemoff yes, it’s really hard. I started five times with learning Houdini and gave up four times over the years 😄 But at some point it started to come together. Now I absolutely love it, but it is a constant struggle.

    Thank you for the helpful lessons. Will there be training on motion graphics? with simple examples of low-polygon objects

    • @graphicINmotion
      @graphicINmotion  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Depends on what you understand under motion graphics. It’s a wide field.

    Hello ! Is there a way to change the shape of a grain ? Im trying to make them look more like rice. Thanks !

    • @graphicINmotion
      @graphicINmotion  ปีที่แล้ว

      Sure, grains are just particles. Check out instancing. The only problem with a rice shape will be that the shape will not be taken into account by the collision calculation.

      @@graphicINmotion So theres no way to simulate rice falling into a bowl ?

    Is it possible to repeat the behavior of ferrofluids?

    • @graphicINmotion
      @graphicINmotion  ปีที่แล้ว

      In Houdini everything is possible. But I don’t know enough about ferrofluids, to give you any direction how to achieve that.
