It looks absolutely beautiful in that room !! At first I thought the hues may be boring, but on completion it is totally elegant in your beautiful home! 🙏❤️🇨🇦
You're the first person that said a possible yes to the mirror. My taste does run a little eclectic and layered, so maybe that's why I considered it. Thanks for the feedback!
My mom used to wall paper many years ago, and she always did a small overlap to match the panels. Not sure if wall paper is made differently these days or not. Looks nice with the trim and agree with others on no mirror!
Traditional wallpaper can be applied that way, but this is a continuous mural that has to be butted up to match. It’s a little tricky when it pattern doesn’t line up exactly. 😊 Gotcha!
You nailed it! No pun intended. It is gorgeous, I’m saying no to the mirror, but I’m a purist and I love that toile paper so much I want nothing obscuring the view! Would I try this? That’s a hard NO! I’m terrible at measuring and getting straight lines. But I’m in luck, my husband used to hang wallpaper professionally! 🙌🏻
Hmm, I wonder which area? My family kept talking and making sounds so I was muting the sound sometimes. 😊😬 I don’t add music to the dead areas, so maybe it stands out more?
It looks really good in your dining room. I’m curious when you were cutting the excess before applying the trim, was the paper still damp, or did it just come off that easily? Also, was it hard to cut it without cutting into the sheet rock?
Thanks girl! It was dry. I find it easier to cut dry. When it’s wet it can actually tear. The exacto knife allows for more precise cuts. You can kinda feel how deep you’re cutting. Of course, it was be covered with the molding if you cut too deep. 😊
Beautiful job ! Your house is just lovely ❤ NO NO NO mirror!!
Thanks Karen! Gotcha 😉
Nope….that mirror needs to find a new home. This spot is taken. I love it. It is crisp.
Ha, yes ma’am! 🫡 Thanks Cynthia!

I completely agree! I think it’s a good base to layer from. 😊🙌🏼
Stunning! I think both with/without mirror will look great. A bit more eclectic with the mirror in my opinion but equally beautiful.

Beautiful! I wouldn’t put the mirror up just because it may take away from the mural! ❤
Thanks Marilyn! Will do!
Gorgeous!
(You can't go wrong with Zinssner products)
Your dining room is lovely!
Indeed! I love Zinsser! Thanks sweetie 🤩
Nice work. It looks beautiful!
Thanks girl 😘
The mural looks beautiful. I say no the mirror should go somewhere else.
Thanks Debbie! Gotcha!
I like it without the mirror. When staging, you might lean a mirror but not permanently place one.
Good idea 🙌🏼😊
Great job ❤
Thanks Sharon!
I think it looks great thank you for that demonstration. I would skip the mirror
Thanks Diana! 🙌🏼

Thanks Lisa! WOW, you are lucky to have him! 😊
Certainly no mirror, it’s spoiling the mural!
Love this idea, will have to try myself!
Thanks Lesley! Gotcha 😉🙌🏼 I hope you try it. It’s a great statement wall
No the mirror takes away from the mural . Have a lovely evening
Thanks! Gotcha 😊
Oh Lisa, I love it! Well done! Don't put the mirror over it!!
Thanks Arlene! Gotcha 😉
Don’t put the mirror back in that spot. It breaks up the image of the mural too much.
Gotcha 🙌🏼😊
Beautiful job! NO, Do not put the mirror up!
Gotcha!
no mirror. The wall piece is a stunning statement. The mirror debases it.
Thanks Shelley! Gotcha 🫡
Looks like a good job. But I have to say that there’s area where it seems like you are saying something but there’s no sound at all.
Hmm, I wonder which area?
My family kept talking and making sounds so I was muting the sound sometimes. 😊😬 I don’t add music to the dead areas, so maybe it stands out more?
@@ivylaneinteriors That’s what I was thinking, although I didn’t think it was your own family.. I thought it was outside noises.
@@christyparr1563 ha! They are loud sometimes! 😬😅
No mirror

Thanks, Lisa! Helpful to know.
Really pretty. No on the mirror. It hides too much of the beautiful mural.
Gotcha 🙌🏼😊
One more thing!! No mirror over that beauty! Do not cover any of it!❤
Will do 🙌🏼😊
That is gorgeous!!!!
Thanks so much!! 🤩🙌🏼
Looks lovely ❤
Thank you! 😊
