  • This video shows how I paint walls using LICK Pro Paint, available from ScrewFix. I explain in detail how to cut in and roll a wall easily. When colour drenching your room, consider using LICK Pro paint in eggshell. This finish matches the woodwork, as shown in another video, and is a bit different from the usual matt paint that most people choose. But don't worry, both the matt and eggshell finishes of LICK Pro wall and ceiling paint can also be used on your woodwork. Who knew!

No point claiming its a fantastic paint for looking towards the light and you cant see roller marks, stripes and banding without turning your camera towards the light to show evidence of your claims. Seems like just another paint promotion to me.

Phill, looks like this paint covers really well, be interesting to see how it holds up to wear and tear, touch up. My go to for walls is usually Tikkurila Optiva 5 but I don’t think a dark colour like this would cover in two coats to be honest.

Nice one Phil, have you tried the white as wondered how that was as colours seem fine. Interested to see how the Matt sprays.
Woodwork looks well in the eggshell.

      In what context?
      Emulsion will be water based.
Eggshell could be oil or water based

I do a 50/50 mix with PU satin and get a great finish.

Been on a job for the last 4 weeks, Customer bought little Greene satinwood for woodwork. They claim no undercoat or primer needed, what a nightmare I've had. It would not flow out, coverage was poor , it was so hard to work with. The finish looked plastic looking.
Contacted little Greene, they admitted after checking batch numbers is was miss labelled and they had sold the old product ( satinwood) as the new product (satin) . And in the email to the customer they blamed the decorator (me) for the poor result.
If they gave the paint away free I wouldn't use it again, it's, only good for the DIY market.
