    Please make the layers dialog a pinnable/dockable pane or at least allow us to select geometry with the window still open with a stay on top behavior. And add hotkeys in () to the tooltips.

      Totally agree. Layers are important so they shouldn't be hidden behind a window. Many design packages already do this so well, CC should join the club.

      Yeah, the layer interface and shortcuts are a mess in general. I end up not using them as much as I would because they're clunky compared to other software design suites.

    I will definitely be using those features

    Thank you! I could not understand why dragging to select elements worked differently at times - dragging up or dragging down was the missing parameter I needed to know. That small detail will streamline my selection process in tightly arranged designs.

      This is my bad. You’re looking for the “join vectors” tool. - Kevin

      @carbide3d  หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      "Heal" would be "Join Vectors"

    Heal command? Pressing Heal? Looking..... looking... not finding Heal command... pressing H doesn't do it. Using v774.

    All of this video might aswell be in a foreign language, i purchased the latest cnc the pro 5 from yourselves but I don't have a single clue as to what to do. Needless to say I do not have a clue what to do when it comes down to computers and how to succeed in the cnc world, it all confuses me no end. Can you please tell me what the best thing to do actually is now that I managed to put the cnc together. Do i need to do something to the bed of the cnc to lower the thickness of the mdf, if so what and more over how 🫣😳. I'm definitely a total dummy when it comes down to the cnc world and how to make them actually work🫣🤔. Please can you point me in the right direction otherwise it's going to endup one hell of a expensive paperweight. 😳🫣🤯. Many thanks in advance for any help you can offer me!!!

      Simon, Carbide3D has a wealth of knowledge on their website. I'm new to the CNC journey too but their website has everything you need to learn the basics and get rolling. I think it's under their resources or education tab. Click around until you find their intro video series. They have ones on how to design in Carbide Create, what the workflow looks like, etc. I watched all those videos about 3 times before even attempting my first project. Their support staff is also incredible if you have questions - email them and they're super responsive. The community is also great - you can search questions in their community/blog area. If you're wondering about something, chances are someone else in the past has too. Then, their YT channel here has a ton of great videos to keep learning. Lastly, have fun with the journey and be patient with yourself.

      Yo Simon,
      I had no clue either . Just watch the vids and most of all just make stuff. Practice is the best way to learn this if you ask me. 2 months in and there is a big improvement my stuff, just don't get frustrated . yYou have not done it before so stay chill and just work your way through it. Again Carbide 3D site has vids to get you threw all of it.
      Peace Bro
