- This is a unique video in that, for the first time, it features the restoration of a Matchbox Lesney, limited edition ashtray. Ashtrays are quite collectable these days as society's acceptance of smoking has declined and ashtrays are no longer as prolific as they were.
Who could resist the temptation of owning one of these genuine Matchbox ashtrays? - Not me!
I had to have this one and also had to try my best at getting it to look new again.
It took sometime but I am more than pleased with the result and I am now the proud owner and will have it permanently on display near my front door to receive car keys or loose change.
