- The weather is still not cooperating with us. We even had more snow on the Serra this week. That's right, SNOW in MAY in PORTUGAL! Carlos has his strimmer back but will he be able to finish in time for summer while he battles the elements?
Enjoy!

Your land is looking great 👍
You can definitely get the land cleared by the of May. You both are doing awesome on all the projects you got going on. I'm looking forward to seeing the cherry 🍒 harvest. There's nothing like fresh fruit right off the tree! Cheers from Michigan.
Cherry season is the best! We had so much fun last year making all sorts of different chutneys ect. We still have some left haha. Going to have to make some different things this time round 😋
Hedge trimmers are good for brambles, little chain saws are good for branches and little trees. Your place is looking great you have worked so hard!
Hedge trimmer! That’s the one I couldn’t remember the name of it 😅
❤
Eu vi vocês no Frankie off grid.
I live in Bournemouth UK 🇬🇧 but my family is from Alentejo literal near Cabo Sardão.
Great video. Yes, of course you can clear away all you need to by the end of May, you have loads of enthusiasm and energy. A great job you have done already, I’m sure you can almost see the finish line. Thanks for sharing, Pauline
Great job Carlos you can do it 😊/ I live in California and the weather has been crazy here also / I enjoy watching you to tackle your journey see you next week
This is the first time I noticed your house is built of stone! Since we always see the side with the rendering and cement block carpet, I never realized. 😂
We were discussing this with someone the other day 😂 we think the render is on the south side to reflect the heat away and the north has been left with none so the heat can escape. Quite clever really 😅
@@TheSunnySaudadeProject yes, I never thought of that. The stone and granite is beautiful.
It sounds like a good idea to invest in equipment that will make your land clearing quicker and easier.
We hope in the future to have a tractor. However parts of the land have been left for so long that the access has been destroyed or over grown. You can only use them when the grass is short aswell. Might be something we have to do over the coming year.
The only challenge I can see is the 2 of you cherry picking for cash, and picking yours and strimming xx
