Thank you for your prompt reply. As I mentioned, I have a 2017 club car precedent gas subaru EFI engine. It was running fine all the sudden I can't control the speed, it only runs maximum speed. If I try try to ease back on the accelerator it wants to stop running. As long as the accelerator is floored down to the max it runs at maximum speed. Can you please do a video or guide me what parts could be the problem? Thanks again for your consideration.

Sounds like you might have a stuck cable. I would check all of the cables, starting at the gas pedal and working your way to the throttle body. If any of them are stuck, it would cause the engine to run a a fixed RPM. I have not had any club cars come in with the subaru engines.

Hi Kevin, I have a 2001 ez go gas cart. I wanted some more speed so I adjusted the throttle cable and the governor. I ram it around the yard then it started sputtering a died. Now it only runs when I hold the choke. Any ideas what I did? Could it be flooded?

There's debris in the carb. Pull the carb, take it apart and clean it. It should be good after that. If not, switch to non-ethanol gas.
