Sennheiser HD265 - Replace ear pads, headband and foam

How to refurbish these headphones by replacing all the soft parts. The top band isn't quite the right length, but I've been using them for weeks since and it's still very comfortable.

Thanks a lot for showing how it works! I ordered the replacement parts and will try it on my two HD265. If the headband will not fill the whole gap, I have the idea to try to push it in the old hull (maybe cut it smaller so it fits into the tunnel).

How do those pads effect the sound of the hd265. I'm trying to find pads that replicate the sound best!
