    Not sure what all the complaining is about. Worked a treat. Thanks again. I also used the original flimsy plastic inserts back in the new ear pads which was better than the new ones supplied. Getting the ring is important!! Sits under the black plastic rim on top.

    just want to say you helped me with the frustration of using an amazon product . this is great advice the only thing i didnt put back in on my sennheisers 380 hd pro was the plastic around it..(what you took out)it all clipped into place after days of frustration :) thank you

    Thanks! This video was a must watch for me, i watched to replace pads not whole headphones and i couldn't do it without this. only part i did wrong it put lockring in upside down the first time, oops. I have the PC 350 set and these instructions work for that model also.

    Great video! Really helpful! Where can you buy the replacement pads from? I have the Sennheiser HD 450, they are old?

    Thanks a lot for your Video. I got the Sennheiser One (Old PC 350) and a friend lend me his Game Zero with memory foam ear pad. The conformt is 1 000 times better. Do you know Where I can buy the same memory foam but for my Game one (PC350), I can't find it on headphone mate. thanks in advance

    What purpose is that plastic ring that you removed from the original pads and transferred to the new? My original pads for the PC-350 had them but I didn't transfer it over and the new ones feel firmly attached. I assume the new pads might have included them but I really didn't check and I'm almost certainly not going to take it off until it's time to replace again.

      ikkuranus it is the lock ring that keeps the ear pads stuck to the headphones. this video was specific the headponemate 1st generation replacement ear pads. they did not have the lock rings pre-installed, so you had to take them out of tge old ear pads and out them in the new. did you buy original sennheiser replacements?

      I'm not sure, bought them on Amazon through a third party seller since Sennheiser didn't have them for sale directly. the packaging did look legit and the actual product feels the same as my originals. The only difference is the ear cushions claim to be made in china whereas the headband cushion (which for sure is legit) was made in Taiwan.

      sounds like you got originals as they snapped in right away and that means the lock ring was pre-installed. which is why you did ot have to do that step.

      +Jet Mac It to me seems to simply act as a support

      +zengrath the thin plastic is not included with all models. tends to be on the pxc450 and above quality models as they use softer memory foam and it help keep is from compacting to much. pc350 has harder foam and does not compact as much so no thin plastic included by sennheiser. these headphonemate pads were modelled after pxc450 pads, so it was included. all in all these pads fit about 12 sets of sennheiser headphones

      B Ross I have the pc350 and it was hard as fuck to put in lol

    • @bross7615
      @bross7615  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yup, it is not the easiest thing to do but that is how sennheiser designed them. We can only play by their rules. If you bought the most recent headphonemate version of pads there is already a pre-installed lock ring. So it is easy as pull off and snap in, no fiddling with lock ring like in the video

    Sorry but this video is not good . There is another video on the sennheiser site for pc350's and the guy shows keeping the original plastic in at first which is probably easier because putting it back in after really bends it and kinks it. Also this guy does not show the pads being put back on. Bad quality video as well. I found the inner plastic piece shows in spots after reinstalling pads, this cutting into my ears after. Maybe I didnt do it right but this video was not very helpful.

      That is funny seeing as I have done this hundreds of times and so have others.

    • @bross7615
      @bross7615  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes it does, they will not lock in place without it. What headphones. Do you have?

    • @zengrath
      @zengrath 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +B Ross I have PC350 it snaps in without that last thin plastic piece but it seems like a good idea to have it in for the added support.

    • @bross7615
      @bross7615  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +zengrath yup it it not definitely required for installation. just an extra but it was included with the headphonemate pads

    You are insistently off camera when doing the most important bits. Are you jealous that we might actually see how you do it?

    • @bross7615
      @bross7615  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, In 3 years you are the first person to notice my intent. I suggest you make an update video as I no longer sell these ear pads and this video only remains on youtube as many others found it helpful.

      He's also using a potato camera. 360p is not going to allow us to focus on the really tiny important bits. Really wish you were shooting this in at least 780p. So now I am stuck with PC 350s with no pads because I can't tell where the lock ring goes under which plastic ring. I do know the lock rings bead flange is supposed to face up into the pads from underneath so they can clip onto the cups inner flange ring buy your video can't show that really tiny critical detail.
