    Hey I’m looking to get a bung king crash bar on my 2020 Lowrider s . I’m just wondering how’s your turning radius with it installed? Do you scrap?

    • @nystar01
      @nystar01  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I haven't. The pegs will scrape before the bar.

    Congrats bro! I just got the same one same color two days ago! Noticed the wind isn’t fun over 60. I have a few questions if you’d take the time to respond.
    How do you like the 13” shade and was it a good enough height? I went in their site and spoke with a lady who gave me the price. Was it easy to install if you did it yourself? Love the bung king bar look also. Nice start for your customizing! The positioning of the mirrors is awesome. I can’t see shit the way they are out of the factory. Did you just move them down and are they stock? Sorry man for all the questions. I’m stoked about this bike!!

      No problem and congrats man! To be honest, I"m 5'7" and the 13" was great until I got the riser. I started to feel more turbulence now that I'm sitting more upright and my head further back. I just put on the 11" and hope that would resolve the issue because someone said that resolved it for them. Kinda of counter physics I know. Haven't tested it yet, but I don't want to go too high. The mirror is stock. Just switch left to right and flip it. Be careful! It may hit the tank if you have the stock riser. Good luck and safe riding!

      @@nystar01 Thanks for replying! Yeah I have the stock riser and before reading your reply I took the stock mirrors and moved them down and saw the problem right away by doing so. Oh well. I'm going to my local HD store tomorrow and going to sit with the parts guy to go over some things like extra lighting and possibly the Memphis shade. I did see on another TH-cam vid for our bike a guy who mounted a shade on the stock fairing, I can come back and copy and paste the link onto a comment thread if I can find it again and if you'd be interested in seeing it. What state are you located in btw?

      @@nystar01 I have the 11 vented with risers and I get some head vibes above sixty. Gonna try and figure it out. I rode around for over an hour at a pretty good clip and I think I just got used to it. It's my first time with a fairing. I'm gonna try adjusting either way to see what results I get. I should also say that I feel like my head is just behind the clean air bubble the fairing makes. Like if I lean forward I'm in it or if I sit farther forward. I was feeling around with ny hand the other day at like 65mph to see where the bubble was and realized my head is right in the collapse of it.

      @@lighlotus117 let me know if you found the good spot. It's a pain to adjust the angle of the fairing because I will have to adjust the headlight every time to make sure it is centered. Also because I want to keep the fairing mounted as high as possible.

    What all do and need for the gauge cluster relocation?

    • @nystar01
      @nystar01  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I used the 25" extension cable from Guerrilla Cable, gauge bracket from OG motor and the gauge pod from Biker's Choice. Also need a gauge gasket from HD.

    • @nystar01

      Not sure of the lean angle, but the peg will scrape first before the crash bar.

    Did you run a tune with the TBR? If so did you stick with screaming eagle or a aftermarket tuner?

    • @nystar01
      @nystar01  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No tune yet. I'm waiting for HD to release the tune the 117. Will stick with SE until warranty expires then I will go with Power Vision.

    Are you able to use your crash bars as highway pegs also? Or does the heavy breather get in the way?

    • @nystar01
      @nystar01  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I never used it, but you can if you're on the taller side. The bar is far out and the intake shouldn't be in the way.
