I only found your channel from your last video on the 996 and now I hope you keep making car content. There’s just something to the videography and colour grading of the videos that make them so pleasing to watch 🤣
Hell ya! Gotta lot of content coming, hopefully you subbed. Appreciate the love on the color grading, i do it all myself took years to get good. It’s cool i can throw it into these videos as well
I respect how much you actually care about the car and your whole attitude towards the situation…I can tell you put the work in and it’s paying of but you are also very grateful for that. I think the simple things you talked about are great upgrades for future uploads. I also think you shouldn’t stray to far from what the car is currently…it’s a great looking car with a great spec…there isn’t much more to do to make it better looks wise. Also looks like the TH-cam algorithm is on your side so take it as a sign it was meant to be. Keep the uploads up and I’m sure you’ll get a nice little fan base going.
I usually never comment, but wow I just love and enjoy your style, cinematic, music, car taste everything is perfect, keep it up and really looking foward on your channel!

So happy for you mate! damn! I recently fell in love with Porsche 996, those lines are so amazing and the aero kit is just unique! Hopefully someday can afford one! Cheers, will look forward for new videos!
Glad you made this video, I was going to ask on the intro video but didn’t think it was my place. For 29k sounds to be a car that’ll hold value for how often you’ll drive it. When you said the way you know it has an aero kit I thought you were just gonna say because the way it looks 😂

It does not matter at all what anyone thinks regarding the price, car and or you. You decided to buy it, you are enjoying it and you are the decision maker on anything related to the car etc...enjoy the journey brother and happy to see you embracing the C4 Aero
You got a decent price right when the market started to taper off. 29k 4 or 4s is completely fair, I'm glad that you got the options and spec you wanted. That's the most important part. Because on the other hand you, would be buying a 996 that you weren't really in love with trying to track down the OEM aero kit, Plus Paint and body work you would have been in the early to mid forties.

Dude, did I just hear that "jazz ass" from Shifty at around 0:57? I also listen to that exact song while driving my 997. Crazy. - the guy that also had that purple hot wheels 996.
curious on what the reliability is like for the 996 especially the auto version. what are some things you can do as preventative maintenance? Love the content man keep killing it!
If you keep up with oil changes and overall service, what i’ve heard is they’re really reliable. It’s an older car so you can run into some issues, but if you get it fixed it’ll keep going. I know someone with 140k miles on their 996 and has had 0 issues
Tip’s really aren’t as bad as some say. My wife has a 987.1 Boxster S tip and I thoroughly enjoy it. Look up the AMG paddle conversion. I haven’t done it yet, but it’s a game changer according to everyone who has.
sweet ride man.. my all time favorite ride... EVER... i owned a 1983 944 and a 1979 928. ill be buying a 996 by the end of this year. and a cayman as well...
The Tiptronic is the same 5 speed used in the most reliable Mercedes models. Turbo guys love it because it can stand so much abuse and torque. Love that the owner gave you a book full of maintenance records. With these cars, you definitely buy the previous owner, and not necessarily the car. Great price too. Enjoy it! Btw - in the maintenance records, did the previous owner ever note anything about bore scoring or the IMS?
The key not turning is either you have to slightly turn the steering wheel to unlock the mechanism, or that your key lock is almost done, but is an easy fix
Awesome car man, I also bought one back in September, braided brake lines are a nice cheap upgrade to reduce the pedal travel and give you a better feel

Also, as nice as a super low mile car is, it also scares me... Like how she did not crank. I have one with 140k miles and she has just had all the kinks ironed out. She is a oklahoma car so 25 miles to and from work, daily driver. I made sure to get a DD car as it was a known entity and having it driven so much essentially makes it more reliable! Not saying yours is unreliable, but the more you drive it, more problems will rear their head, and you will fix them... this leads to a more solid car! Win win, right?! :D Also, have you thought of a manual tranmission swap? Seems very straight forwards... New clutch pedal and bracket, new transmission, half shafts, flywheel, pressure plate, slave and master cylinders, shifter, shifter cables, and the subsequent brackets involved / etc. I bet 5-10k would get you this done... And you now have a manual trans aero kit car of your dreams! I am looking for a new engine and I am looking for an engine out of an auto trans car as those last longer thanks to less sporty revs, much less wear on the thrust bearings, etc. All around a very nice purchase!!! I am also a young guy who got a 996 recently and am thinking of making a video about my experience!!!
