- In this video, I’ll talk about the five things. I love most about my Porsche 996 and why it’s the best first Porsche 911 you should buy. I’ve had my Porsche 996 for almost 6 months now and it’s been my favorite car. I’ve ever of modern looks new for being a 22 year old. 996 and you’re interested in them make sure you go check it out. It’s definitely worth it.

Love your positivity! Everything you said is absolutely true. 996 is a drivers car. You can use 100% of it on the street, it is very capable. The styling continues to age gracefully and within it's period. It is unique and by those who own one it is loved and appreciated for its characteristics. I've owned 2 in my lifetime and always say, that on those mountain runs there is no way the guy in the $250K GT3RS is having more fun than I am. What a car! Enjoy yours.
I bought my first brand new 2001 Carrera right off the showroom floor. I paid $86,000. cash for it. I drove that car until 3 in the morning after leaving the dealership with a smile on my face that actual started to tire me out. I loved that car. I wish I still had it. I traded it in for a 2001 Turbo 3 years later. I loved that one too. Now I’m hoping to buy my boss’s 2003 turbo X-50!
You made a fun video, Noah. I’ve owned my 01 996 since new, also Arctic Silver, though mine is a manual and still with its original exhaust 😆. It was my daily driver for the first year but then I knew I wanted to keep it so it became my summer and fun car. I’ve always thought of it as a new car but obviously, not quite the case any more. I’m now retired and my sons are quite a bit older than you but I used to joke that the 911 was the “perfect family car” when as very young kids they very comfortably fit in the back. It still looks and feels as good as the day I bought it and still puts a smile on my face every time I drive it. Enjoy.
Muffler bypass was the right call! Such a cheap and easy way to wake the car up a bit, it's the first thing I did after replacing my 997.1 with a 997.2 earlier this year. Great to see another video from you!
Ohh anf thanks again for the plug 🙏 very nice of you and your welcome to call anytime hope we do meet up at an event in the future
It’s gonna happen one day, can’t wait for it
Inspiring story! Wishing you many years of happy motoring.
Very cool. I got mine about a year ago also. Same experience. IMS Gang!
Loved the shout out for Dan's Timeless Classics! Glad you're enjoying the 996.
appreciate it! and he’s the best
Loving your enthusiasm. Bought my 1999 C4 in Jan this year so about the same as you and I love it.
thank you!! and congrats that’s awesome
Love this!
Congrats bro so happy for you! A car guy with a car he loves is a wonderful, wonderful thing! But yo, I'd put my c6 vette againt this porshe as the best bang for your buck but ive still yet to drive a porshe but i cant imagine its more fun than this vette, the sound alone blows the doors off the porshe and the power and it handles great too especially with a few simple mods.. but with the Porshe you have the german engineering and handling crispness and fun and looks and exclusiveness and community and much more anyway yea i dont think you can wrong with either i love cars :) but ill iterate again the c6 is bad to the bone blast 💥
I sold my 2010 C6 base MT a couple of years ago and it was everything you said. But I'm having more fun in my newly acquired '99 996 manual. More nimble and a hoot to row the gearbox to keep it in the peak torque band all the way up to 7000 rpm. The C6 had such a fat torque curve that you could put it in just about any gear and take off smartly. I think the C6 was the best looking modern Corvette but I find the understated and minimalist design of the 996 more seductive. To each his own.
As a german car lover/enthusiast I own a 05 E55 AMG and the v12 Biturbo w220. Your car looks really good, I will hope to own a porsche one day soon. Keep it up bro
It’s true about the vid watching 😂. Good thing there’s a lot of new stuff all the time which wasn’t the same with some previous cars. I’ve had my car a few months and have been without it for the past few weeks while waiting for some jobs to be done (emergency caliper repair being the main one but also having a PCCM+ fitted and some other bits). I’m really suffering from withdrawal symptoms now but hope I’ll have it back soon.
Brilliant video Noah and i totally agree with everything youve said about Porsche ownership and particularly the 996 i love them as you know
Love your energy! Keep the videos coming.
thank you !!!
This is sick bro, 996s in Japan are kinda rare but always a dime will definitely look up some
Where did you get the tee shirt from it’s 🔥
Love your energy. Keep it up!
thank you sm!
my dream car
Hes back!.. Thank you for the morning uplaod
I love my 1999 Artic silver Aero kit 996 6speed.
Great video! Agree on the interior! It has apperence and soul. 997 is too modern and a bit boring in comparison. But 15 years ago I disliked both the interior and exterior of the 996. Interesting how things can change with some perspective!
My 996.2 C2 manual is a keeper for sure and on Ohlins it is totally amazing.
Can’t watch the vid yet but will for sure leave a like!
Fun video and correct! love my 02 996
such a good car
i've owned a salvage title 996 turbo for 9 months now and driven 500 miles, because I'm always working on it. xD
Nice Video.
I love my 996 Cabriolet! I am a Fan of the Headlights and the Freaky Interior!
No 997 for me.
How is Your Cars History concearning IMS and Bore Scoring?
By the Way : The Sound is far better with the Muffler in Place,
A simple Sport Exhaust does it better!
Cheers from Home of Porsche Germany.
I ate so many tacos of the back of the wing! 👍
Calling a 2001 vintage is wild. Gotta try a triumph spitfire I promise the 996 will feel brand new compared to that 😅
how's your interior look so good!? what've you done to it?
Well said. Great video😊
thank you !!
Fiz novas amizades e me sinto grata. Conheci outras meninas que amam carros também. Continue postando e inspirando outras pessoas. Acompanho teu trabalho no instagram e vejo que tem muito dom. Abraços
Thank you so much, i appreciate the comment! Congrats on the Golf i love those cars so much. It’s actually the first car i learn to drive manual on!
bro got the unlimited content glitch 😂🔥

❤️
How pipe size did you use for the muffler bypass? Sounds really good. I got 2 inch which was loud at first but after few weeks, I’m glad I got the 2 inch pipe
I need egglights 😔
Shout out @dan's timeless classics!!
the goat
I’m actually liking the 996 interior more than the 997 now haha.
the besttt
Nahhhhh
Just not the 9/11 hit home
Sorry can’t get past the moustache
Doesn't sound like a Porsche anymore, there are better solutions 🤔
for $120 it sounds sickkk
@@nhpstudio enjoy 😁
Very nice
I sometimes just sit in my 996 in the garage and think "it's REALLY mine"!!!
i would do the same lol
I would also do the same as well!!
i do the same 😎
Same here, I have a 996.1 and 996 S I know what u mean 👍
I have a 99 and a 01 996. Both cabriolets. Both black on black. Never even drove them. Just like admiring them. Stupid I know
that’s okay! they would like it more if you put miles on it tho ;)
