I've been getting all of the questions about the new Apple Podcasts updates and today I wanted to share with you about channels. In this video, I'm walking you through the steps I took to set up a channel for my two podcasts - The Proffitt Podcast and The Poddy Report - under the "Proffitt Media" channel.

Another question I have is how do I load up episodes onto my new podcast?
Hi there, I use a podcast host, Buzzsprout, to upload all of my new episodes. I don't upload to the individual podcast players each week; I upload to Buzzsprout.

How do you edit the information on an already published episode on apple podcast

There is one issue, This is my very first time starting a podcast. I do not have any shows to link up to in the channel slot, so how would I creat more shows in podcasts? This is my very first time making a podcast.
You'll only need the one episode to get connected to Apple Podcasts. You can use a trailer episode to get connected.

Getting ready to take this venture serious- so after I create the podcast, it has to be loaded to a partner site, then uploaded to Apple- is that correct?
I’m excited for you and this podcast venture!
To answer your question, if you’re using a hosting site like Buzzsprout for your podcast, you’ll only have to connect to Apple once and then your show will be distributed to ALL podcast players - not just Apple - when you publish a new episode.

heard your podcast a few days ago. I'm just getting around to setting up my channel and using your instructions. But I keep getting hung up on the artwork and the instructions you linked to don't work. I even downloaded GIMP to make my artwork 3000 x 3000 but that still didn't work. It would be so helpful if you could link something BASIC for beginners on how to get the artwork uploaded in the most basic terms for amateurs like me. I'm disappointed. And spend two hours getting nowhere.

I'm sorry you're having issues with your podcast artwork. Are you only uploading to Apple Podcasts or trying to work with a podcast host, like Buzzsprout?
I've found more success working directly with Buzzsprout and they push all the info needed to Apple Podcasts.
How do you edit the information you created after published?
Are you talking about within Apple Podcasts? Or the audio file?
@@KrystalProffitt the apply iTunes connect account with the logo, name, description etc which you use as the host to upload your RSS feed to?
