Had my heart attack at age 45, 25 years ago. Was in hospital for just a week. Took me a while to get my confidence back - you'll see what I mean when you go out or leave your house for the first time!! I think an MI still counts as a notifiable illness to the DVLA, I wasn't allowed to drive for a month. But, happily, I'm still riding, still driving, still active and have never had any issues since - just make sure you take the daily handful of 'smarties' they'll give and you will be just fine! Good luck chap!

Hi there Scott, how are you getting on with your mental health since your heart attacks ? I'm still struggling with anxiety, stress, and depression since my bypasses I went to rttw last week came back put the trike away and havnt left the house since I'm making up excuses not to go out on it with mates, heart attacks and heart surgery completely changes your life in ways people don't understand, anyway what I'm trying to say is, your not on your own it happens to the best of us, PS, can you make some more videos please I'm all caught up with yours. Take it easy Scott and look after yourself Atb Lee
Hi Lee, I don't know about you but I had never had a mental health issues my entire life until the heart attacks and had no idea they this can be a side effect. Mine was a lot worse for the first probably 3-4 months. I still get anxiety for what seems like no reason at all and days worth of feeling really low/angry but not as bad as it was. I also find that now I just can't cope with stress anywhere near as well as I could before. From what I understand everybody is different, some have very little or no issues and others the issues never really go away. I ended up going to see a therapist once a week and that really did help, just to talk and for somebody trained to listen and help you understand what is going on and the changes that I had been through. Might be something to consider ? Thanks for watching buddy it means a massive amount that anybody out there actually enjoys watching the shit that I get up to on the bike. I've got another one just about to go out and then it's a case of booking some time out to actually get out on the bike. It's ok to feel how we do and it will get better. Go safe.

Hope your recovery goes smoothly mate. Maybe check out the vegan options at the pie shop next visit ! :) Take care and all the best.
😨🤮💩. Yes that sounds lovely, yum. 🤣🤣. Thanks very much for the message.
Get well soon. Look forward to seeing you back on the bike before too long.
Finger crossed. Sure it wont be long. Its only a heart, I've got another. I think, maybe ???
How are you today ? Hopefully feeling better ?
I'm feelin ok but everything is just taking ages. Need further tests which will determine what work I need but cant get in for them yet. Its all a bit frustrating for sure. Cheers pal.
@1guyaharleyandadrone657
Don't want to sound condescending or owt, take the time out, feet up, balls out, couple of months to regroup and get your strength back. After all, I need someone to laugh at getting lost and to give me ideas where to take the bike. Chin up mate
Wow mate, you scared the shit out of me…. get well soon and I’m sure you’ll be on the bike again in a “heartbeat” … but take it easy for now 😊💪
Cheers mate. Got no choice but to take it easy. I cant even walk anywhere at the moment as I'm wired up. Bummer. Thank you.
Blimey chap, so sorry to hear about that! Rest up and get better soon 🙏

Everybody is just bloody amazing here. Great great NHS staff. Thank you.
@@1guyaharleyandadrone657 I’m serious about doing as the medical professionals tell you, I’ve been in your position and there are no shortcuts to recovery, if they tell you not to ride for a while, then don’t. Spend some quality time brushing up piloting your drone instead! 😀 We subscribers don’t mind, we will enjoy drone footage until you are ready to ride again.
Thank you, really appreciated.
You look young to be suffering like this. Is there any history of heart trouble in your father or grandfather's record? If not, maybe a few lifestyle changes are in order. Wishing you the very best of luck. Don't know which part of the country you're based, but if you're in the northwest and you need some help with logistics let me know. Cheers!
I'm north Staffordshire. I'm all good but thanks so much for the offer. Yes there a bit of history there and some changes that probably need to be made. You dont know whats round the corner do you.
WTF! oh mate thats a pisser, too many pie's & sat nav stress eh! Bits falling off you like the HD , Fingers crossed buddy & best wishes from over here.
You'll fix this m8 ✊️
Temporary glitch pal. The service center here will probably add some new parts and it'll all good. Hopefully nothing I had hasn't fallen off like my bike.
Very sorry to hear this man that’s not good I hope you can get over this but I do wonder if it is quite stressful doing the rides you do especially with long journeys and time arrivals to destinations or is it your job that is very stressful I don’t think you probably rest much you know what I mean I have a job to put it in words what I mean anyway take care get some rest can’t wait to see you back take care mate

Thanks pal, you thought of song writing 😂😂😂
Get well soon & stay strong.
Best Wishes .
Thanks very much Robert
I don't know what to think about that or what to say. You seem to be fit and active enough.
I imagined you would go overdosing on pies in one of those English pie shops.
Just listen to your nurse, especially if she's a looker. And see if you can get her as a full time care giver. Take her on your adventures. 😊
Get well soon.
I've been known to enjoy the odd pie or two otherwise im practically the fittest person you will ever meet. I do marathons in my sleep and just wake up wearing dirty trainers. Dont understand it.
@@1guyaharleyandadrone657
You just brought up a memory of an uncle. He ran 5K & 10K marathons all the time. His closet was full of running shoes. He worked in a steel galvanizing plant and one day decided to run the ten miles home after work, on a hot day. His salt content was low and he damaged his heart. No more running for him. He seemed fit as a fiddle too, but he wasn't playing the fiddle properly it seems.
I'm neither fit or can play the fiddle, just fu+ked all ways 🤣🤣
Hope all goes well & Drs sign off clearance for you to ride.
And me, it would defo help getting rid of these machines im attached to. They will just take up too much room on the bike. Thank you.
Wondered why you weren`t shouting, speedy recovery atb
Its dead quiet in here and I dont want to blow anything else. Thank you
Sorry to hear that take it easy for a while will still be here when your ready to hit the road again

Fucking hell mate, hope you get well soon. Just goes to show it can happen to anyone. Don't rush your recovery, take your time. Your health is the most important thing.
I know right, the body of a Greek god, eat nothing but salads, work out every other minute and this shit happens. Not fair buddy. Thanks
Hang in there Scott!... they'll take you to the Cath Lab, put some stents in,.... and before you know it,.. you'll be getting bored at home and be clawing the door to get back on your bike!!
No shit I will. I cant wait already, cheers Howard.

Get well soon 👍
Thanks very much.
Get well soon!
Thanks Mark, hopefully so.
Shit man what a downer but hopefully as someone once said We can rebuild him. We have the technology. We can make him better than he was. Better, stronger, faster.
Somebody is fully showing there age there. You can tell all the younger crowd who haven't got a clue what that means. Excellent.
Get well soon mate
Will do, cheers
Hi there Scott, how are you getting on with your mental health since your heart attacks ?
I'm still struggling with anxiety, stress, and depression since my bypasses I went to rttw last week came back put the trike away and havnt left the house since I'm making up excuses not to go out on it with mates, heart attacks and heart surgery completely changes your life in ways people don't understand, anyway what I'm trying to say is, your not on your own it happens to the best of us,
PS, can you make some more videos please I'm all caught up with yours.
Take it easy Scott and look after yourself
Atb Lee
Go safe.
@1guyaharleyandadrone657
Hi Scott, I'm going through the anger issues now and getting totally vext and frustrated over nothing . It's nice to it's normal , and I'm not going mad.
Any keeps these videos coming it's helping with my recuperation.

Atb Lee

@1guyaharleyandadrone657
Dr Scott the two wheeled head doctor.
Take care matey
Oh no, that's out of the blue! Hang in there mate 👍👍
Indeed, not something that I was expecting, what an arse. Takes more to finish me.
@@1guyaharleyandadrone657 we're about the same age, I feel sometimes I'm just waiting for this to happen to me. Take good care mate.
Shit bro. You cant think like that. All you can maybe do is give yourself the best chance of it not happening. You take care and go safe.
Take care Scott, look after yesen
Thank you, will do.
Get well soon dude.
Thanks very much Dave
These things are very scary, especially when we realise how mortal we are.
Just allow your own body to tell you when to ride out again and do not be pressured by anyone or anything else.
👍🏼
Its telling me to ride now, NOW. But they wont let me out ! ! !
