    Thanks. I was one of the Marshalls on tbe main entrance. I know why I support RTTW and why I Marshall. It's always been a very emotional day for me and I have to fight to stop the dust from getting to me hut watching your video of this year's event in the privacy of home has set the tears rolling. RTTW daybis always emotional for the reasons we all hold close to our hearts. Add in the events that happen on the day and the emotions are heightened even more. Seeing your footage had been so moving I just want to say Thank You. We Marshalls only see you all coming in and going out. Your video has given another perspective. Ride safe - see you next year. 🏍🏍🏍

      Blown away. 🥺 Firstly THANK YOU SO MUCH for doing what you do. I am under no illusion that without people like you this whole day would not even be possible never mind running seamlessly. Every person who attends owes you guys and girls a massive massive thank you for giving up your time. Total respect ! It means a hell of a lot to me when anything that I create and put out there has an effect on anybody, I'm so happy that this has given you perhaps that riders perspective on things. As I said, I was nervous about even making this video because of the importance of this day and all I wanted to do is make sure that the right message did come across. I think so many people don't even see you guys doing what you do and just focus on everything that's going on, it's easy to forget people like you MAKE this happen ! Thank you and all of the RTTW family, I wish I could tell every single one of you how grateful we all are.

    Another great day at the RTTW yesterday, weather was just ticitiboo !! Spotted you on top of the steps filming back down the steps, wanted to say hello, but by the time we got there, there was hundreds already in the "Wall" !! - I have sent your link of the RRTW 2023 to my mates who have never been, and watched it again with my wife on Friday night (to show her what to expect) as i think your reflection was exactly the same as mine the 1st time i went, as an ex serviceman, it is great to see non servicemen & women attend, and show their appreciation to those who have fallen since World War 2. It was a shame we all seemed to get split up on the M6, as the convoy seemed a little thinner on the day, but having seen your video, i now know why, we must have just been a head of you, coming down from Knutsford. Thanks for taking the time to edit the video in quick time!
    PS - i just turn my Rocket off when in traffic like that, saving fuel & my legs

      Hi, I was turning mine off whenever possible as well, got a bit uncomfortable at times 🤣. Sorry I missed you, it would have been great to chat, bugger !!!!. The M6 was a bit of a shame, we tried to catch up but the main group was long gone. Still had a good chat in the middle of the motorway 😂😂😂 From a non armed forces background I cannot pretend to fully understand an ex forces perspective on things but what I do know is that every single person owes more than they can ever repay to those who have given their lives defending this country. To me it shows more bravery and courage than I even know. Total respect. Next time just throw something at me 😂. Thanks.

    I was one of those 1%ers there. As far as a public event goes you film as you wish. I mean it’s not like anyone in the UK has the right to privacy when out in public, (CCTV etc….😂). Awesome vid, mate. I love your channel. 😎

    • @1guyaharleyandadrone657
      @1guyaharleyandadrone657  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi, Thanks very much. I have only just responded to another comment about this and it was along the lines of - I know some 1% can be a little sensitive about filming so I just be mindful. That side of the culture is not my cup of tea but each to their own and I make it my business to know just enough about that side to stay respectful.
      Probably me being a bit over sensitive then but I don't want to upset or disrespect anybody in the community. You might be a good person to ask, I was a bit surprised this year and last that there wasn't more of a representation from the so called 1% clubs there. Given the size of the event now I maybe would have expected more or a greater diversity of this side of the culture. Is that fair ?

    • @stigga1667
      @stigga1667 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@1guyaharleyandadrone657 It’s a strange one really…. There are numerous LE, (law enforcement) back patch clubs that attend every year as well as local back patch clubs and various mcc’s and riding clubs from all over the UK. However I have only ever seen one other 1% club, (an original 1% club not these recent support clubs that just stick on a 1% patch…lol), there at RTTW in all the time I have attended. Personally I live 5 minutes away from the NMA and have seen many different MC’s there at different times of the year and individual 1%ers from different clubs too. Unfortunately politics and rules stop me from going into details but basically it’s to do with areas.

    • @1guyaharleyandadrone657
      @1guyaharleyandadrone657  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It's possible I suppose. It was very odd. Normally if there's a security risk they have a way of making the area a no fly zone. Most big stadiums have this. I got permission to cover the local charity bike run here with the drone and because it started at the local football stadium I couldn't get any footage for them. I could have go much better drone footage but there was no way that I was having the drone low enough to see or hear it in that kind of setting. Thanks pal.

Normally when there is a potential security risk and a no fly zone is put in place I will get a warning but this was interference of some kind. Strange.
