    I assume the tire and wheel products are safe for all types of wheel, I ask because I have two types of wheel sets .
    One set black powder coated and the other hyper silver with mirror cut alloy ?
    Also what tire brush do you recommend?

    Used this and "Inside Job" on 15 vehicles so far without issue. Durability on the tire shine is pending, nothing lasts in Florida! The inside job is decent and I will continue to use it on monthly clients. The expense compared to products previously used is substantial. Why Why Why doesn't TW have a line that is geared towards detailers (gallon or concentrated) not retail individual sales......money money money. This has me on the fence about using either product in mass.

    • @michaelharrison2184
      @michaelharrison2184 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    After seeing 10 million dura-shine facebook ads I finally broke down and bought some. Well, they weren't kidding, the shine does actually last for moths but the key is you really have to clean the hell out of the tires. When you think the one you're cleaning is clean, hit it 2 more times but VERY worth it. Really hoping you test it out.

    Game changer! I find the best application is to spray it on liberally n let it absorb for 10 minutes then take a foam applicator and rub in for maximum durability and shine. I think most people will not like the shine if applied directly with applicator on first use as I did. Directions are crucial to high shine with this one.

    Definitely keep us up on the longevity. I currently use Perl (1:1 dilution) for tires and trim and I'm quite happy with it, but I'm always interested to see if a different product does a better job, and/or lasts longer, particularly at the price point that Turtle Wax products usually land. I'm a Carpro/Wolfgang/Ultima/Gyeon/etc fan usually but the last couple of years' worth of TW stuff has been really excellent and I'm definitely not one of these more expensive = always good kind of folks.

    Going to sound like a complete lie but I get about 6-8 weeks with ArmorAll 'extreme shield' ceramic tire coating on my car. Not a huge fan of the brand but I do think they are slowly turning it around kinda like Turtle Wax a few years back. Several of the new 'extreme shield' products are not bad, granted the tire shines bottle absolutely sucks, the spray pattern is pitiful and maybe it's just mine, but it doesn't mist for me, just a single weak stream.
    The product does work well for me though.

  • @peterjurenovskis5933
    @peterjurenovskis5933 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Great video Brian! It’s great to see TW continuing to expand their lineup. I guess time will tell about it’s durability and cost effectiveness. There’s a fine line between a detailer trying to optimize products (more than one application for a single product) and being time oriented. I’ve used CG VRP and Fireball on tires. I can get about 3 weeks out of VRP and about 6-8 weeks on Fireball. Sun (in the summer) and salt (in the winter) are the two biggest tire coating killers in Ontario. I hope this product hits the mark!

I don't touch my tires during washes after I coat them,, just rinse them off.. Very inexpensive and awesome matte finish.. prep is DEFINITELY key with any product. I found it here, from Brian. Ty. 32oz...$17 Amazon.

    Fire ball tire coating lasts about 4-5 washes and about a 5 or 6 weeks with one heavy layer and cureing over night. While carpro pearl lasts about 3 washes or 3 weeks @ 3:1 and optimum tire gel lasts about 4 weeks or 4 washes. I prefer it to wear off consistently so I don't need to use a strong chemical to remove a real tire coating which is a pain and a waste of time and expensive for the customer. I can't get away from using perl. I'm in Minnesota. The salt and friction from snow takes about a week of life off the duration.

    • @dustin3700
      @dustin3700 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@neildorrity9507 I did do that to one tire just to compare, I visually didn't see any difference but I also didn't go crazy with the heat either, really didn't seem worth the effort and time to get a little more time out of the product. That's why I still prefer using carpro perl instead, and it gives me the exact look to the tire that I love at 3:1 ratio, and keeps the tires clean and free of brake dust even with alot of heavy breaking and it take only about 20 seconds to apply to a standard car tire, if they are regularly cleaned.

    I have used this product for close to a year now on my Hankook Dynapro HT tires on Nissan Frontier. Now I have 26k on the tires. I've gone a month without washing the wheels and tires as an experiment. I'd say slight brownish tinge on the tire but still has a deep black. I live in Decatur GA (metro ATL) and my truck is outside 24/7. I did this recently however I normally wash/detail whole truck on a weekly basis. I use the Hybrid solutions wheel/tire cleaner 2 passes to completely strip off the previous week's application ( I know its excessive). Recently installed new wheel and tire combo so I will see how long it holds up to a Kumho Road Venture AT 52 tire. I say a great value since as of todays date its only $11 a bottle.
