Jon, my mom has metal lounge chairs outside that started to pool water in the legs and started leaking thick slurry of rust that stained the tiles outside. I did 2 sprays of Bilt Hamber Korisol and it lit up deep purple so fast and it removed the staining. I also disposed of the chairs after but it was good fun putting BH to the test, and was so satisfying seeing it light up deep purple proving BH supremacy once again.

That's too bad. Many years ago, TurtleWax used to sell pretty cheap, and crappy products, but they have totally revamped their entire product line and now provide genuine premium QUALITY products at an affordable price. If you tried them, I think you'd be pleasantly surprised.

Based on the view count its clear your channel is very seasonal which makes sense, I hardly watch your vids until Spring time. I did do a quick wash of the car earlier and tried some Turtlewax ceramic spray sealant which reminded me of your channel so just stopped by to see what vids you've made recently. Happy new year

I've notice, mostly on old leather, it helps to spray from the bottom up. That way, the diluted spray doesn't run down over the untreated area and protect it from the stronger fresher spray. You get a more even clean.

Always enjoy your videos Jon and I appreciate your sense of humor, although I'm glad I wasn't eating when you made the brown underwear remark. I've already received several of the new Turtle Wax products but haven't had a chance to try them out yet. I've used the 75th anniversary paste wax but wasn't too thrilled with it. Keep up the great work.

I do like a long video, its what attracted me to the channel in the first place. Looking forward to the glass cleaner comparison. That looks a good wheel cleaner and i would have probably tried it if like years ago i got my car cleaning stuff from Halfords, and i didn't clean my car that often. My go to wheel cleaner was the Bilt Hamber then tried the Gtechniq, was exactly the same price and performance but also had a corrosion inhibitor. I now use the Koch Chemie reactive wheel cleaner that says has a glossing agents. It cleans as well as the BH and G but costs considerably less. I recently paid £73 for 10L so £7.30 a litre compared to £12 for BH and G if you buy 5 litres.

good review Jon, would still prefer my *AM Iron* , no smell from it and very good on paintwork too. Agree the Prep Hyper Foam one would be good for getting tyres ready for coating/protection - Acrylic Tyre Shine. Highly recommend the Inside Job, smells great, reduced dust and made my steering wheel feel like new (good tactile feel). 🐢😁

Hiya Jon, great review. My two pence worth is that the "big boys" Autoglym, Turtle Wax, Maguires etc are going down the easy to use all in one type products. They have their place dont get me wrong. Having just moved away from Autoglym, I have found other products just as good if not better all be it getting two products to do the job. I think they work on the quick Sunday wash type senerio and not to your typical enthusiasts/ weekend warrior who have a little more time and money to hand. Someone will probably disagree though!!!!

Always a pleasure to watch your reviews. I used the Meguires Synthetic Polish and the Turtel wax Cear view and the dirt was so easy to remove. I have used Bilt Hamber products but found them to be not value for money. When ever I leave a factual and informative review BH have removed it if is less than the 5 star they want and the bias is for positive reviews only I had the BH manager threaten me at one stage by saying he is going to come to my house to sort it out!

Awesome reviews. I too wish It came in gallon sizes and both worked exactly as you described. If they were in gallon sizes, would use them at the shop. TW ceramic graphene tire protectant has been on my tires for three weeks so far and I am impressed. The wax was nice but too much effort for something that didn't last three months here in California. The Hybrid Ceramic spray is still the best, easy to use and easily lasts three plus months. Their new soap is what I am really interested in to use and find out if it is as good as my Bilt Hamber. I'll know later this week. The window spray and interior spray are also excellent, but again I won't be using them because they are not available in bulk. I am telling my clients to use them. Our USD price is $8-$10 for 750ml or 23 oz. So it is very complain price and sign it cheaper than Bilt Hamber. It is all about shipping and customs, i.e. taxes.

I re-watched this today, I purchased the red tyre/wheel cleaner a few months ago and used it, I thought I’d add my findings to maybe help others. I found it good, tyres and wheels came clean and it did seem to leave something on the wheels, hard to quantify they just looked different ( better ). I used it again last week, the wheels did seem easier to clean than usual, and shone beautifully afterwards.
Now here’s the kicker, I used the whole bottle on those 2 washes. That’s an expensive item to use and I can’t see how anyone can justify using it, no matter how good. I watched the video again because I wondered if I had a dodgy spray that was dispensing too much product, but no, my findings mirrored yours. The spray pattern was the same and we used the same amount, you said it would do 2/3 washes, it won’t, 2 maximum which is a shame. If I washed both our cars it would use it all up, I can’t justify buying it. I think it’s on offer in Halfords at the moment for £10, so it’s probably not moving off the shelves.
    Is it worth £10…………………..?

Try decanter it in a finer spray bottle. I have done this with their flex wax, and is much better to control, with brilliant results and no streaking with using too much.

@@kevinhorner4904 I’ve bought an IK Mini 360 Sprayer, next time it’s £10 in Halfords I’ll pick one up and test it. If I can squeeze 4 uses out of it I’ll use it every 3rd/4th wash. For me that’s the only way I can justify the cost.
I had thought of a different bottle, it’s just will it be as good using much less of it.
      Thanks for the tip 👍
      EDIT
Forgot to ask, did the different spray help with how long it lasted, or did it just generally help with a better dispense rate/spray pattern.
Did you use any particular bottle/nozzle, I use lots of products in work and have many bottles. I also have CarPlan bottles from using their Demon Shine/Tyres/Wheels etc in the past, they are great bottles/spray guns, very heavy mist spray.
      Thanks

Does anyone need to use wheel cleaner so much though? I mean they are basically fall out removers. I personally use surfex HD and then go over the alloys with auto wheels to remove any ingrained tar and brake dust afterwards every few months. Otherwise it’s very expensive to use wheel cleaners consistently.

In fact, I don't know much about these, but a friend introduced me a product called Philipsn, which I think is good after using. Has anyone also used it?

Right, I have also used it, the effect is really good, the tires are very clean, waxing is very easy to get started, I bought it during the promotion, it is cheap and easy to use, philisn's products do not hurt the car paint, safer and more environmental - friendly.

If the second wheel was sprayed with BH Autowheel it would have lit up like a Christmas tree.

The only thing with these fallout removers for wheels is they will wreck the silver coating on new brake callipers and bolts leading to premature rusting

Hello what is the purpose of having graphene/and or ceramic/acrylic properties in a wheel and tire cleaner???
    I don't get it..or is it Hogwash marketing 😁😁😁

Great review. I've always been a bit of a brand snob and if down that isle of halfrauds would err towards the other retail brands as turtle wax (for me at least) used to have cheap'n cheerful connotations... Nice to see them putting out worthy new products. I'll stick with BH fallout remover though!

I feel like if i am caught out using Turtle Wax on the forums / detailing scene i would be made fun of and get comments for using a non-detailing-scene product.

@@MrManBuzz Been using Dry and Shine for a while now. Outstanding results when you take care with the application (spray over small areas at a time and immediately deluge with water). Available in packs of three bottles online making it the equivalent of £5.34 per 750ml bottle (£7.12 per litre).

@@allanmountford21 Yeah, it's great stuff, I just bought a fresh bottle of it yesterday.
I will fully concede it is the lazy man's way of adding some protection to the car, but I'll openly admit I just couldn't be arsed to do a proper decon and seal in the winter months.
Giving it a quick wash and then spraying a bit of Dry and shine makes it more than presentable. Good enough for me. 😂
