I’ve never in my life been to Shakey’s but we used to get these little Free Shakey’s Individual Pizza coupons from school for doing well. I was digging through some old stuff a few months ago and was surprised to find a little stack of these coupons. They’re like 20 years old so I don’t think they’ll be honored anymore… 😅 It’s too bad, we didn’t live close enough to Shakey’s to go redeem them back then. Especially justified in the Los Angeles area when every other buffet tops $20. You do have to pay separately for your drink but otherwise very good buffet.

We'd come back so full none of us want to go back to work. This was back in the late 1980's and I want to say it was like $4 all you could eat.

Shakey's buffet in Calumet City, Illinois. $2.79 in the 1970s. Great food, well managed, clean restaurant, and they played Three Stooges shorts on a movie screen.
