Hello! I am Mexican, I tell you that approximately that is the average price of tacos in my state (Guanajuato), between 50-90 cents, some are that small but others are little bigger, hope you can come and try them sometime! 😋

Cabeza is one of my favorite meats for tacos and burritos. Really pleasant flavor, goes great with onion and cilantro, dab of hot sauce and it's next level.
Those look amazing. I love basic taco's from small/dinghy mexican restaurants. All you need for an amazing taco is good meat, cilantro, onion, and lime (hot sauce too if youre into it). So much better than the ground beef, shredded cheese, lettuce, and salsa tacos I grew up eating. They still can be good but nothing because a traditional taco

In Modesto CA their is a taco truck that sells 50cent tacos everyday, all day. The taco truck is named “Jessica’s “ and it’s located on crows landing road.
Cabeza is the absolute best if you have it to any picky person without telling them it’s from the head they would love it, the meat is so soft and delicious I love it definitely my favorite.

Cabeza is a great taco that is underrated, along with lengua. I feel like people outside of large Mexican populations like in Cali and Texas just don't have the exposure to a lot of the incredible food (putting molé, tripa, menudo, pozole in there too)
The chicharon one is supposed to be that texture because it’s been drenched in the green sauce. It’s one of my favorite meats! Please don’t confused it with the crispy fired chicharon, two totally different styles. Both still bomb.
Cabeza is a mix of head meat that may or may not include brain, cheeks, and tongue. Brain is fatty and melts down like butter when mixed with cheek meat.

Yep that's the future and what most places should do. There is a place called comales or something like that and does similar small tacos only problem is they sell em like normal size at 3.50-4.50 each
Check out Baja California Tacos on overland and venice in Culver City, they were my go to when I lived there!! Super cheap, super yummy and they’re super friendly!
Could you check out a place in Long Beach called Bored & Hungry? Reviews say the burgers and fries are too expensive, but maybe the quality makes it justified?

Those chicharron have probably been swimming in a green chili sauce. They don't stay crunchy that way but are just as good if not better. I like getting a mix of the chicharron and some carnitas the perfect taco.
That's the regular size of tacos in mexico city. That's chicharrón en salsa verde. Usually chicharrón won't be crunchy in tacos, the crunchy kind is usually eaten as a snack with hot sauce and lime juice. There is a few exceptions where crunchy chicharrón is used in tacos like when it's just nopales preparados, queso fresco or panela, chicharrón and maybe some guac if you got money.
The chicharron u got is called chicharron en salsa verde it comes like thst its basically pork cracklings then they cook them in the sauce & the rehydrate
