So far it's pretty spot on, I appreciate the honesty and professionalism. To hear someone speak from a medical standpoint it's easier to take in criticisms and I really appreciate him explaining everything out to help others understand the mindset and how things are. It wasn't a fun life, I was miserable, the whole jounrey has been insane and crazy to apart of. I appreciate Dr. Mike for putting this out there, shouting my channel out in the bio, talking on how I'm doing now and everything. This was a really great watch, thanks everyone for the love and support and thanks again Dr. Mike
Casey, congratulations man. You’ve put in the hard work and you’ve accomplished lots. Thank you for sharing your story with the world and allowing us all, myself included, to learn from your journey. Wishing you nothing but continued success. 🙏🏼
@@DoctorMike I truly appreciate it man, thanks. If you ever wanna talk about the before, the after, the journey, or whatever I'd totally be down. I really appreciate the part at the end

I’m so sorry I read that as a 12 year old heroin addict and started cackling
And part of treatment for substance abuse is part of breaking certain habits. Avoiding particular people and triggers, so on. But food addiction can't benefit from that form of habit breaking if the individual provides their own food. Going to the store is a mine field of triggers for a lot of people.
I Honestly Wonder What Would Happen If He Decided To Get In Shape And Become A Bodybuilder To everyone that has been telling me he has lost a lot of weight: I know, I've had this reply up for nearly a year and every few weeks or so I see someone reply to the reply, it's getting very annoying

Yo wtf a second ago you had an anime profile picture with some name and now it's just a dot as a name and default profile picture, I can't click your channel as well.
I have seen 600 pound people not being able to get out of bed. This guy is 711 pound and the fact that he still managed to walk to the gym and get on a treadmill is really fascinating.
as an overweight person, i've never seen you as fatphobic. you're realistic and kind. realistically, being overweight isn't healthy and won't lead to a long life. but you're also kind, fat people deserve to be happy as much as the next person.
The whole "fatphobia" thing is super scary to me. It's a health risk! When we ask for rights for disabled people or the chronicallynill or awareness of a disease, like all the ailments I have, it's because we want people to take it SERIOUSLY. I don't deserve less rights than someone because I have a faulty heart! .but I need my doctors to tell me IMMEDIATELY if something is unhealthy for me! .and yet somehow the very positive movement for body acceptance and to shy away from fat shaming has turned to something DARK. Where people aren't supposed to mention all the associated health risks with obesity? I've never been above a 25 BMI and yet I'm told IMMEDIATELY when I get close to that I have to lose weight. .because it's for my HEALTH. But we're not supposed to tell someone the health risks of being obese? . Someone who smokes cigarettes had the same right to life liberty and happiness as I do. But we sure as hell tell them it's unhealthy. Same with sunbathing! The most natural thing in the world became suprmeelt dangerous due to thebozone layer, and now we would shake anyone who refused to wear SPF. So what is it about obesity where the person cannot handle being told the truth?
@@nataliaalfonso2662 sure, treat it as cigarettes. You won't make fun of smokers. You won't exclude them from things or call them ugly. Thats what we want. We know its unhealthy, trust me its not a secret. But instead of shaming us about our biggest insecurity, why don't you just take a walk with them? Teach them to dance or play tennis. That will help greatly, because if shame was gonna work it would have by now. We see it in the mirror every day.
@@ruthiemuqatach5942 smokers are absolutely not allowed to smoke inside. Or outside most places. And can't get life insurance. And pay exorbitant amounts of taxes even though it's literally an addiction.

10:28 This smile. This smile. I've always known that Dr.Mike is a wonderful doctor and person who definitely cares for people and wants them healthy and happy but this incredibly genuine smile when he sees the progress in health and confidence just warms my heart and was my exact same reaction too
Some random people: Mike is fat phobic Meanwhile Mike: watching this video, not seeming disgusted or judging Casey, manifesting profesionalism and concern, and even empathy.
I'm with you on that, I went through weight loss surgery years ago, a different type but same idea. It was one of the best things I have done for myself. Dr. Mike doesn't seem fat phobic to me, he actually has much more compassion than my surgeon had, I think my surgeon went into bariatric surgery because he wanted to stab over weight people.
To some people, any advice, any attempt to help out of concern is an attack. It is also often things people hold dear to who they are where it hurts the most. But Mike is awesome.
It's mostly coming from a bunch of insecure chicks trying to social engineer society into finding them attractive. Apparently that's easier than diet and exercise. Basically goes against our biology. We like younger, thinner, nice glowing skinned people.
I’m a licensed therapist (LPC). I appreciate your professionalism and non-judgmental stance towards these patients. As a mental health professional, I find it encouraging to have this subject addressed in a way that shows respect yet also presents the truth, even when it may seem harsh. With so much sensationalism on TH-cam the approach here is refreshing. Thanks so much and keep up the great work.
Unrelated to the video as a whole but when he said “the dose decides the poison” at 1:30, it literally gave me a theme for my college art portfolio so thank you Doctor Mike.
Dr. Mike talks about that taking away choice, but it also takes away agency. Also, this was a solid reminder that I need to work harder on making the choice to drink plain water (and that it is a choice I am in control of and that I make, and I am making the choice to give into cravings for soda). Also helped hammer in the "I'm probably awake at almost 2am due to the caffeinated soda I had this afternoon."
Im so happy that hes happier!! I'd love to see how long it took him. I hope he uses that story to motivate people, especially since he lost like, 500 pounds. :)
Seeing Casey in that last clip in his car, that brought tears to my eyes. I am working on my own weight loss, and this is probably one of the most inspiring and incredible transformations I've ever seen. I feel so happy for him and I hope he thrives.
At some points he looks like he’s about to burst into tears... this isn’t fat shaming this is genuine care and concern. The reason he became a doctor is written all over his face.
Yes, Dr. Mike. We don't need personal trainers to reduce weight. I started my weight-loss journey a few months ago and followed instructions you shared in your videos. My BMI is reducing from obese to overweight (4 lbs away). Being obese all my life, this is huge and I am grateful to you. Keep guiding us.
It’s nice to me that he doesn’t look like he’s disgusted or judging in any way while watching the video. He’s addressing the risks and explaining everything which I really like about him.
I love how, almost aggressive, Doctor Mike is when explaining things like losing weight to people. I love how he really forces it into your mind that you don't need to take the exact same steps as other people did to get to where you want to be.
As of now, Casey is 370 and still losing weight. He has a ton of excess skin that he says he hates but it is his reality at the moment. So proud of him and his journey to a healthier life. So happy that Dr. Mike can approach this subject with knowledge and compassion.
I know, he's doing great! I'm so happy for him n proud of him! I get hating the excess skin but eventually he can get skin removal skin so that will make him feel even better! He deserves it!
The excess skin isn't his fault, it's a symptom of losing that much, and it'll eventually fade. That's a tough road ahead and he deserves recognition for coming that far
Yeah same, My doctor is really rude. I thought there was something wrong with me and apparently not, my doctor called back saying i did that to skip school, ect, and a bunch of other negative things for excuses...
It's people who prefer to stay fat rather than try to loose weight. I was 250 pounds and at that point I was done. I didn't want to feel or look unhealthy anymore. So I ate only salads and drank tea and water then bit by bit I started exercising regularly then bike riding. A year and a half later I'm down to 158. Life feels great and I never felt more alive. And my body loves me for it
The sad thing is though, there are so many people who take any single mention of weight being a factor of danger to a person as being degrading. Doctors are literally running scared right now, unable to tell patients the truth because of the power of evil people on twitter who just want to see the world burn to make themselves feel better... but the funniest thing of all is when you get someone stick thin telling obese people they're 100% healthy and they should accept themselves, nay, get even more obese. People are literally glamorizing being obese, and making a fetish out of it, and it's disgusting. So much for being the same people who supposedly care about science, facts and health, when they're the ones doing it.
People who weigh that much can develop insane leg strength, making them able to walk around a little bit. Due to their legs getting a workout just from them walking around.
I feel oddly comforted by the non-judgmental reaction of Dr. Mike, he seems concerned and its really nice to see doctors as someone who wont judge you and will try and help you through whatever issues you may have
I'm middle aged and about 4 years ago, without changing my eating habits, I put on close to 100 pounds in less than a year (I actually UNDER eat). I have numerous pre existing conditions including horrible GI issues. What I like about Dr. Mike is that he, and the medical teams he shows, actually puts in the TIME necessary to properly diagnose the medical issues. All the doctors I have been to only do routine tests and then throw me out and tell me to go to someone else. I was actually thrown out of a nutritionists office after following her diet to the letter but didn't lose enough weight. She said she couldn't help me and I needed to go to a doctor! The last doctor I went to this week was suggesting bariatric surgery BEFORE doing anything else! She's skipping right to the 'last resort.' And I don't want that. With my GI issues, I think I'm asking for trouble with that surgery. Plus I don't think I'm heavy enough that it requires such a drastic measure!
@@lucas29476 he's another doctor, why can't there be a doctor mile. SOo ur saying there are NO doctors other than Dr.Mikhal? no, so why put that atitulde to doc mile. lol
When I was working my tail off to lose weight I only lost 13 pounds or something around there and was truly bummed about it. Then my husband handed me a 13 pound turkey and told me this is what you lost. It put it in more perspective than any numbers or look in the mirror and that was the most motivated and happy moments I truly love that man. ♥

I couldn’t help but notice that too. He could teach a lot of doctors some good good stuff. Empathy would be the first thing on that list. He has plenty of it!!
No point in treating a patient as though they are a fat pig, you'll just drag their self-esteem down and push them back deeper into the rut that they have come away from..
My Uncle died young from eating too much. Nobody could save him from himself. He enjoyed the small amount of fame it brought him. Everyone called him Bear because it was like Bear in the big blue house. He got kicked out of an "all you can eat" Chinese Buffet like Homer Simpson it was one of his proudest achievements. It was pretty funny.
Well he is a personal trainer I wouldn't call it an accomplishment that he doesn't harass his customers... He's doing the very minimum at not being a scumbag
There are A LOT of "professionals" who are judgemental and have poor choice of words and tone. They've even gone to a point where they will murmur to other people in their office, its humiliating. Unfortunately, Ive had my share of encounters with "professionals" like that. Sometimes professional is only a "title" and a lack there of.
I used to be 500 pounds. I lost it through hard work, just like putting it on. I made a choice to not die fat. I didn't lose weight when other people wanted me to, it only worked if I wanted to.
Just here to remind people that it isn’t fat-phobic to discuss the health issues around obesity*. It’s medical fact, not opinion. *when I say this, I’m referring to this video, not people who use medical facts to shame people for their weight.
This can get tricky though. A lot of fatphobic people use health to justify their hatred when, in reality, they just hate fat people. And yes, plenty of fat people are also unhealthy in myriad ways. But there are also fat people that live totally healthy and active lifestyles. It’s complicated.
I agree & for the sake of the medical staff that have to clean the patients that can’t clean themselves, there should be a law requiring patients over 400 pounds have to get a gastric bypass, so it’s easier for the staff to clean them!
"fatphobia" doesn't exist, it's just straight up bullying, instead of actually trying to help someone lose weight you're mocking them and making them feel worse.
@@ugtitan what’s harsh about that? It’s literally true, being fat is unhealthy lol. I don’t agree with fat shaming or people disregarding fat phobia, because it exists and causes a lot of people low self esteem issues due to shaming and bullying, but this video is far from fat phobic. Explaining the facts in a non judgmental way isn’t fat phobic. So if reality seems harsh to you, tough luck buddy
@@Bumbaclaat360 exactly, people think the only way you can lose weight is by bullying them into it. Like no, you’re just gonna give them depression and they’re more likely to continue their unhealthy habits, or just commit suicide. Being firm and factual is different from shaming and being fatphobic. Teaching people that they don’t need to be depressed over their body, isn’t enabling them to continue, it’s letting them know that they shouldn’t work themselves up over their weight, but slowly start making steps to lose weight gradually
I had a neck injury which required significant rehab. It was incredibly frustrating learning to crawl again (I had neurological locomotion problems). My PT took videos every week, and she showed me them when I would swear and rage about how useless the whole process was. Usually when I'd just moved the wrong limb for the 20th time in a row or moved my weight so I landed face-first on the mat. In those moments I couldn't see any progress, so watching the video clips was this great reminder of the fact I was getting better, I'd gone from there to here in a week, a month. The motivation came not from knowing i could improve, but seeing how I had improved.
I like when Dr. Mike says, “you may not see progress, but you still are making steps.” Because when I broke my elbow and needed surgery after I was in a cast for a long time. I lost my mobility in my arm and it has taken me awhile to get back I’m about half way there. So knowing that I’m making small improvements everyday is beneficial for keeping a good mindset and has helped me a lot
Same! I injured my back and was told by multiple people to journal what I wasn't able to do that day and when I would look back on it did make me feel better and see the progress ❤
This right here. I'm (slowly) recovering from a brain injury from early 2018, and the hardest part has been the fact that I can't see tangible differences, it's been the gradual changes that I have to keep track of where I'm finding the progress/regression.
@Micheal Byrne 5 years ago I broke my elbow too ,they put iron on my arm ,I had a cast for 40 days . Then I did physic therapy for 5 months. It was a very hard time but I did and you can do it too .
Up until last year i was clinically classified obese. I just got up one morning and told myself "I don't want to be like this anymore". So i started doing cardio exercises even if my mind resists, slowly increasing the intensity as the months pass and started eating healthier too. Now, i'm less than 2kg away from my ideal weight. I'm proud of myself. 😊

It was shocking to realise that even people on complete opposite ends of the scale, feel the exact same way sometimes. We are all human no matter our weight.

See this is actual body positivity, Doc is actually a great guy. I see way too many people, both overweight and under, hate on others or put them down for making changes to their weight to move towards a healthier lifestyle. Started this year being 5”11 and 115 pounds. People have no idea how much changing your weight can help your self esteem. When you aren’t at a healthy spot, you get into this “well it’s my body i don’t care what anyone thinks” mentality but once you start working towards your goal you really realize how much better you feel, physically and mentally. Just my take, atleast.
If he’s 800 pounds… and the human skull crushes under approximately 520 pounds of pressure… he could sit on your head and crush it completely. I know that sounds horrific but for some reason it was the first thing i thought of-
There has recently been a murder like this. A morbidly obese women sat on her partner. She didn't crush his skull, but she smothered him. I think it was deliberate, after an argument.
So what. I am a trained martial artist and could crush your skull with 10 pounds of pressure. If I flipped you on your head and did a piledriver, you would not survive, not even if you were 90 pounds.
I just don’t understand people who call Doctor Mike fat phobic. He’s literally so sympathetic with this guy and he truly cares about what’s going to happen to him.
Who is calling him that? I've seen dozens of comments telling he's not fatphobic and why he isn't but not a single on who said he was. Do people just assume someone is going to call him that and retaliate in advance or what?
When he said “2020 is probably gonna be the worst year for some people, but my life currently is blossoming.” I honestly could sensorially relate because I hit a huge milestone in 2020 with conquering my anxiety. I know it’s weird because we had a lot of things to be worried about that year, I mean hey I even got Covid, but I was and still to this day in a really good place mentally. So glad to hear this man’s success story and that he’s at an awesome state right now.

The former prime minister of Norway is what you may call obese plus. The fat jokes about her from people that dont like her is numerous, and the media have also sunken so low showing pictures of her eating a slice of cake in order to shame her in the least flattering way. I'm not a fan of her politics, but personal attacks is always the all time low, whatever a persons appearance may be.
Some things are to be judged The action was taken by the subject, but the subject himself should not be judged While it was his choice be in his situation, the action is fit to be judged.
I have to say, the fact that the 700 pound patient is 1) still able and willing to walk, and 2) is willing to take the steps to changing his life, are really excellent to see.
You are the absolute MOST COMPASSIONATE doctor I've EVER heard talk about this! It brought me to tears, waiting to hear the attacks/shaming/criticism/condescension & hearing the care/support/respect/compassion instead. THANK YOU, for being the ABSOLUTE BEST in the medical world. ❤❤🙏❤🙏❤🙏❤❤
6:00 For those who don't know, the doctor who tells Casey and his father that he will die soon is demonstrating one of the most important parts of being a doctor: the Hippocratic oath. When you get your doctorate and become a licensed doctor, you are required to(at least in the past) repeat the Hippocratic Oath where you essentially promise not to "mince words" and tell them exactly whats wrong no matter how horrible or painful may be to hear.
You can tell by the way he speaks what a compassionate doctor he is. There's no judgment in his voice at all just concern, genuine concern. He's being very professional and kind.
It's honestly so amazing, to see that he was proud, when they showed how much he lost, you could really see how he was proud, of how much this guy had accomplished!
I really like that your tone and attitude during this whole video wasn't judgmental at all and was overall positive, it's not surprising but it just makes me happy to see there are still kind people
Do you really think someone would like to be like this? I don't think anyone would like that, but there are many factors that cause this but that does not mean is their choice eventhough It's true we do choose what we eat but there are times we can't help it.
Yeah, most people just call them names. Then claim they "care" about their health. These are still human beings, we need to normalize talking more like him.
I'm overweight and I didn't care about losing weight even if everyone around me told me to. I only took action when I started doing it for me. Not being the best version of my self is eating me on the inside. I'm losing weight right now and it feels amazing. It's not easy but worth it
I think that in order to be a better person you need to be egoistic and narcissistic, because is hard to pay attentions to others when you start being more self-centered you wanna look good, you want people to like you and there's nothing wrong with wanting to have an attractive silhouette!
@@fixedfunshow That's not really a good way to put it. To lose weight you are taking care of your body and mind, looking better comes as more of a side effect. You don't have to be negative to concentrate on your wellbeing.
Being told I should lose weight (usually in a very deriding/insulting way or a condescending way) only made me not want to do it. It made me angry, defensive, and extremely upset...which led me to just eat more. I can totally appreciate this video. I was also deemed morbidly obese and went through the process of getting the gastric sleeve in 2016. I have lost 150 lbs and have kept it off through hard work and lifestyle changes. The problem I have now is being an enabler to my children. I have two teenage daughters over 200 lbs and it doesn't matter how much I discuss my journey, or what they witnessed on this journey, they are headed in the same direction. It is truly disheartening and I feel so guilty because they learned these bad eating habits from me.
@@reddjack340 I do. But my eldest has a job and pretty much eats her money. If a meal is cooked that she doesn't like (Most of the time now) she goes and grabs fast food. @@krisburnham As a child of a gastric bypass patient, I'm very glad you only did the sleeve and still have all the ability to absorb all the vitamins you may need orally, vs potentially having to have feeds through a button to get certain things absorbed (what they were looking at for my mother, 26 years after her surgery, just before she died). I've had issues with food all my life, and not just from "eating a lot" being modeled for me. Eating to deal with problems. Eating when lonely or depressed. That was modeled for me, not just Southern Fried Everything too. I qualified for bypass, took years of more focusing on moving than specifically what I ate (started with the "1 healthy change" and first healthy change was no more sugared soda). But I had to do it for me. No surgery, bad knee a lot less painful. It's unhelpful to feel guilt for the past because guilt itself is unhelpful unless it motivates you to change something, and you can't change the past or your kids. Making "bad foods" taboo with teenagers just creates rebellion that will increase when they go to college. And while compulsive overeating/emotional eating is bad for ones health as it can cause obesity easily, I would argue obesity caused by those eating disorders is easier to treat than treating purging that can happen when someone still needs to binge for emotional satisfaction, but then punishes themself for it.
It makes me unfathomably happy to see doctors (or just people in general) to watch these shows without showing any disgust or judgement over these issues.

Exactly! I’m a personal trainer so I’m always looking for ways to utilize our everyday movement for maximum benefit. Sitting down on the toilet alone can be an exercise of posture, alignment, core, glute, and leg work. Now imagine safely squatting to a seated position while holding 10 x 50lb feed bags. EVERY movement is a workout for these folks.
Literally if he's 700 pounds, each leg is probably 100 pounds each. Imagine having to lift 100 pounds every time you lift your leg. That is DEFINITELY exercise.
the skin folds and yeast is so real. i don’t have skin folds from excess weight, but i do have large breasts and no one told me about how important it was to fully dry off after a shower. despite my doctor starting discussing breast reduction around age 16, and continuing to do so, the emphasis was always placed on the nerve strain, muscle strain etc. it wasn’t until i was like 23 and had skin underneath literally rip and tear that a doctor actually said about the importance of drying off and paying attention to the skin there. i genuinely up to that point just assumed the uncomfortable feeling in my skin was just another burden of the size of my chest and that the only option to relieve that would be surgery.
I started losing weight at 15, I weighed nearly 310 pounds and I was 5 foot. Now I'm 16, 5'1 and I've lost 45 pounds as of today. Being obese isn't fun, I grew up obese and it isn't fun. One thing I've learned is that inorder to get physically healthy I must get healthy in every other way as well. Seeing this show now with a new perspective on health I understand I never wanna get there as at one point I didn't care. Obesity isn't worth it.

I'm into bodybuilding. I agree! I'm always shocked when I see someone that weighs this much walk around, even if only a few minutes. Also, when they lose the excess fat, their legs are going to have some amazing muscles!
Remember, be the good, nice gym bro. If you see an obese or overweight person at the gym, help them out. Spot them. Give advice. Don’t judge them. They are there to solve their weight issue. It’d be like making fun of a child because they are at school or a sick man because they are at the hospital

5'11" and 115? That sounds dangerously underweight.
If he’s 800 pounds… and the human skull crushes under approximately 520 pounds of pressure… he could sit on your head and crush it completely. I know that sounds horrific but for some reason it was the first thing i thought of-

@@collinator68 yeah but his diet is terrible, his muscle have all the wrong nutrients, he needs to change his nutrition to achieve that, besides he seems to not workout, he can become strong but only if he changes his lifestyle
This is crazy cause that guy had a lot of potential and he knew so he wanted to give himself a chance and loose 186 pounds and save his own life and I’m very proud of him cause it ain’t easy loosing weight I’ve been through it, it’s the hardest process to go through so much hard work like it’s never gonna end I can only imagine how hard it was loosing 186 POUNDS he need a trophy ASAP! ❤❤❤
As a physical therapist, I love how well you explain to the general populace the need for incremental improvement. I have this discussion every day, multiple times per day, including the looking back on progress discussion. Many thanks for making all these topics relatable and understandable for everyone!

"I am a gamer" -Doctor Mike, an actual legitimate doctor
My aunt's a doctor and she is a gamer
Jesus Saves Love God✝️
Gamers come in many forms and extents.
What matters is that you enjoy it and do so healthily. Don’t know how stereotypes regarding gamers survive at all these days really.
Ye dude the problem with everything is doing it in excess. Excessive eating can kill you, excessive gaming can definitely kill you. Everything with moderation.

He’s so nice, he never actually calls someone “fat” it’s just “obese” or “larger structure” it’s so nice of him.
When was the last time you heard a doctor call a patient fat?
@Whymsical Joy well, they are professionals, they should be straight forward
He's a poser who doesn't follow his own advice regarding Covid-19. I hope he never gets paid to talk about it ever again. He doesn't deserve a penny for his hy po cri ti cal advices.
@@RobertOrwellSandman hes like 25, it wouldnt do a thing to him, hes fine.
@Whymsical Joy obese is a medical term, and fat is fat, everyone has it, but if you have excess you ARE fat, I am larger, 6'2 260. People should be held responsible for their wellbeing as a physically healthy country is a mentally healthy country
“Post traumatic growth”
-Dr Mike.
I love that positive growth through pain ❤
I’m literally in tears. As someone who has been overweight my entire life, I really appreciate the kindness accompanying this honesty, as well as the understanding that even the little things like stepping on the scale can be traumatic. I have been in urgent care for something totally unrelated to my weight and then been lectured by the nurse about how I really needed to lose weight. It’s like yeah, I’m aware, but can we deal with this animal bite right now?? It really does have an impact and honestly, it’s probably been one of the biggest factors in the way I tend to delay seeking care for medical issues of any kind.
I agree! I’ve denied taking vaccines because the idea of people knowing my weight and mentioning it terrify me, doesn’t even motivate me, just terrifies me.
Just don't eat, that's what I did.
Water and more water
@@slikbac6656 you can literally die from doing that
@@trashcontent4851 What he is saying is that instead of eating. You drink a tremendous amount of water. Water is very healthy in large amounts and it can even cause weight loss. Of course starving yourself is extremely unhealthy. The water will then take a portion of your stomach and this can lower the amount of food you can eat due to a fuller stomach.
You know society has gone in the shitter when even a professional doctor is called fat phobic. I just can’t help but laugh 😂
yup. it's depressingly comical 😂
Society
i had a doctor tell me point blank that i needed to get more exorcise and eat smarter because i was obese. mind you the heaviest i weighed was around 250, with my ideal weight being 165-175ish, but you know, HE WASN'T WRONG.
I have been overweight since I was a child so I understand. My weight in terms of danger has improved over the years. I don't see any fat phobia or shaming here. This is about health, health!!! There are bigger people who are not close to death but there are others whose lives are threatened. Thanks for the info given in this video.
@xhthepikachu Gaming I mean that’s good. It’s not fatphobic, and I’m proud of you.

*pushups*
i see more comments like this than anyone complaining about mike
A therapist TH-camr recently made a video bashing people who think obesity is a medical term. When obesity can cause health issues and she says it doesn’t and tells her audience the same. She thinks because she doesn’t have a eating disorder that gaining weight isn’t bad. She was hurt by an eating disorder and has now come to the conclusion that being over weight is good and not unhealthy. I am so sad she found this path and I hope dr mike covers her bashing him because he doesn’t deserve it. The youtuber is mickey atkins

Im in my early teens, after two years of a lot of mental health struggles, I’m much happier now, but it’s so hard to break the damage that has been done, repairing trust, i have a screen addiction. I have a horrible relationship with food, I binge and I feel like I can’t control it, and than after about a month of that I starve myself. I haven’t gained a lot of weight, which is surprising considering I’m in bed a lot and eat quite a bit, but it’s so hard to feel like I can’t control and eating to the point where I almost throw up. This man probably had a lot of struggles which led to this, and your empathy and understanding approach is so wonderful. I’ve been working on getting in shape but my mom is constantly trying to push me more and it’s really painful and discouraging. Thank you, if it’s exercising you that means it’s working ❤❤
