Thanks a ton for watching. My only issue is when I take something apart that I have shown and taken apart in a bunch of previous videos. I worry that people don’t want to keep seeing that. But I also don’t know if it’s the first time they have seen it. Lol. Such a conundrum.
@@TheShopMiniRC I think that a lot of “micro lovers” appreciate your work 👍. Anyway I don’t have the Lemur but I had the same idea for switching esc/battery position, so you took away my doubts 😂, but…I have another idea to to get lcg, can you try switching the LC80 links?
Really like that you take things apart and show whats underneath. Talking about what works and what's not working. I do see this as a rock racer or trail racer more so than a crawler and I think that's a good fit for fms compared to all their other scaled rigs that aren't a comp crawler. One good thing you pointed out was could put a comp body on it with some diy so that offers some longterm build.
I'd love to try to combine a FMT24 with the FCX rear axle and make a mini scale pre runner/ trophy truck. But therefore it has to be IFS front and solid rear, everything else is compromise in my eyes 😅 My daughter won't be happy when I slaughter her Lemur. It already makes a nice Ultra4 / desert racer with speed motor, better shocks and a little weighted portals/ wheels 😍 And it can still crawl....
@@TheShopMiniRC would you try to base such a build on the FMS parts or go Traxxas or full custom? Obviously there are much more aftermarket parts available for the Axial/Traxxas models . Tuesday I hopefully gonna pickup the FMT24 from my local store and then I can take measurments and sketch something up. I swore not to touch the mill for this project 🙈 I love your deep dive series and I'd love to see such a build on your channel. 👍🏼
I like fms and the innovation they brought to the micro community. But I’m just not feeling that innovation in the lemur. To a degree I feel like the Doug, smasher, and blazer all had some degree of innovation. It would have been nice to see something new out the box like a factory trailing arm or a swaybar system. Even a 180 motor out the box. I’m not sure if im going to pick this one up tbh. I want to see what the aftermarket for the chassis will develop to.
@@centralcarolinacorruption2285 that’s very odd. Be 100% sure the battery in the truck is fully charged and the batteries in your remote are good. It’s interesting that you can turn the lights on and off. If you have your dual rates turned all the way up and it’s still not working, I’d reach out to FMS or wherever you bought it.
(Original comment: The weight in this machine is distributed correctly by the manufacturer. 52% front and 48% rear. By changing the weight distribution proportions to the front you will get problems when descending.) We totally disagree. for rock crawling we prefer a 60% 40% weight bias. It is all going to depend on the type of rock crawling you do and your intent for the truck (as well as your driving style)
like I told you, I LOVE when you disassemble everything 😂❤👍

@@RicoTheRicher already done. I have the fcx18 links and driveshaft in the rear. ;). Video of some tips, mods and such coming soon.

Thanks a ton For the positive feedback. And yeah, taking this guy and putting a comp chassis on it would be pretty easy.
Save the lemur’s. Another great video.
Thanks a ton for watching the whole thing!!!
Save the Lemurs! This is a great little rock racer. I will definitely be adding one to my collection.
It’s definitely a fun one!!
Save the Lemurs! Thanks for the great review Ken! Looks like a pretty fun little rig! Lots to choose from right now!
Tons of awesome rigs to choose from.

I agree that the lemur is a step back. But it’s also cheaper.
Different wheels, meaty tires, a little lower stance and rear steer and it'd be sweet. Lol
100%. I think we might throw the new Meus straight axle conversion on it!!!
Save the lemurs!
Thanks for watching to the end.
Save the Lemurs
Thank you!!!
I just bought this as my first rc and it’s not working 😢 all I can do is turn my lights on and off. Help please 😭
The steering doesn’t work either? Be sure your dual rate (d/r) is turned up.
@@TheShopMiniRC yes the wheels won’t turn and the throttle doesn’t nothing.

Does this fit in the injora trailer do we know ?
The bigger mesh type trailer? Yes.

вес в этой машине распределен правильно изготовителем. 52% перед и 48% зад. изменив пропорции развесовки на перед вы получите проблемы при спуске.
