Great video, bruv! It’s a poor design for a rock crawler but not everybody is looking for the most performance. Some people just want something different. Big reason it’s so flippy is that electronics stack and super high roof. Pro’ly could use more weight but then you’ll be over doing that motor. I haven’t been driving the shorties but I remember the feeling you described when the rig gives no warning before flipping. A big part of that is loose suspension. Dampening helps. The other part is that weight being so high. The window of error is so small and comes and goes before we can even adjust. Can be super frustrating. Thanks for a great show, bro!
For the white plastic roof & hood - if you ever want to change the color, you can use RIT clothing dye and soak the pieces hot water with the dye in it. Colors the plastic all the way through in most cases
I love my RED and WHITE K10 accept when the stupid plastic gears die to soon and I can't find metal ones to replace them with! The color is nice though I even put a white topper on the bed.
Cool, vid! I was looking at this for my ax. The motorsize issue you ran into will that happen on a furitek brushless aswell? And how much room is there between the elektronic mount and the motor? Wondering if stripping the spektrum back and sticking it on the underside will fit.
You need to please make some kind of push to make more aftermarket parts for the FMS K10 trucks it's hard enough finding the regular plastic parts . Please, Please, Please.
Great video got a question would I be able to take the motor out of my 1.0 mini-t 1/18th and mod it in my 1/18th trx4m bronco crawler or would I have to replace everything if I do that cuz my mini-t tops out at 60
Any reason why the rails are in so many parts wouldn't they be stronger being just one piece per side? I always get "depressed" watching your builds (the best that i can get is injora stuff) but this one made me happy 😂 not wishing i could get none of that 😅
lol I think we share the same opinion on this stuff. I’m racking my brain to understand pretty much any of the stuff I was sent 😆 The vid should be interesting I guess lol. On a positive note…. The servo is pretty good! Nice vid as always. Sometimes hard to cover something if it’s not necessarily your thing. You did a much better job than I’m going to do with this one for sure 🤦🏻♂️
LOL I approached mine thinking from my sons perspective. The crazier it is the more he will like it. I'm bummed I couldnt try the servos but I'll put them in the FCX24's to try out. Looking forward to your video!
Convert you fav 24th truck to 4 wheel steer. Add a fly sky gt5 to it. Gt5 has a crawler setup in its menu. Front steer, 4 wheel steer, crab, and rear wheel steer at $75. Frpm this point add all your fav mods that are already on your fav truck. Thats my 2 cents worth on 4 wheel steer! Enjoy
Yes. You just have to select brushed motor in the app and then it will work. I haven't tried it with the stock motor, but I've tried it with other brushed motors and it works great.
I am looking for a good chassis and not sure this is it neither. all the ones that are not the price of a brand new ax24, seem to continue to whole stacking of electronics and have no room for just a slightly bigger motor and battery. I don't understand this. I like this chassis as it looks great, I don't like having to keep the weak motor that can't push the extra weight the rig needs to carry to it doesn't just drop off the side of the hill. Is there a chassis that breaks the stacking electronics mold?
Have you looked at the Furitek angry sparrow? It does not leave a lot of room for electronics, but with some clever positioning it can work with the stock rx/esc. It also has room for bigger motors and more intuitive positioning for shocks and linkage.
Most of the scx24's are built specifically around that skid. The AX24 has a unique skid, which could make it difficult to fit into an aftermarket chassis. But you could just buy an scx24 skid. Buuuuttt at that point you would pretty much just have an scx24 with 4ws, which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Great insights from a great builder!

Hands down the best review! Honest, Objective, and you provide links to parts... Keep it up champ!
I actually just used the nexxspeed nighthawk chassis kit and I really like it.

I think I’m with you it’s not my forte but my son would love it I do like the light bar and it really does look futuristic great review ✌️

I would love to see this with the shock mounts moved up and smaller electronics
I've definitely seen Starship Troopers & i definitely see it in this chassis. Lol Definitely a different build as well. 🤙🏻
Can you make the lizard pro control the spectrum motor to make it More controllable through the app?
Yes. You just have to select brushed motor in the app and then it will work. I haven't tried it with the stock motor, but I've tried it with other brushed motors and it works great.
Looks like something a marshan would be driving

Nice build 👍
Do you think other SCX24 chassis fit the AX24? I’m having a hard time finding any specifically for the AX24.

So I bought the ogrc servo but it doesn't clear the rear body mount. Any ideas
You could try shaving down the servo ears and/or the body mounts
I like machines when they look like something not just a pile of wires and metal they have to look like a vehicle.
Can you please do a hardpark build!
Yes I will
Cool man 👍
Hey you. What costume you got planned???. Adam I didn't want to end up with same outfit lol.. hahaha. Cheers🎉HALLOWEEN
Dear
Adam i challenge you to review a cheap scale crawler kit such as the mn111 from mn models
Challenge accepted
I want 😂
Hard pass on this one!
I don't think that's going to do anything for your front tires
Side profile looks like Woody Woodpecker 😅.
It is a strange design this one but thats fine
Hmmmmm lol
Yeah nah bro
