    I may have missed the answer to this question but do you have to wait until the nails are completely dry after washing of the blue cross before you start to remove the cuticle?

You are an excellent teacher! I want you to know I’ve employed these techniques since then and it has been a hame changer for my nails!!! Thank you, Anna! Done regularly, it makes such an amazing difference in the quality of my nails and as a byproduct also my manicures! Take heed to Anna’s teachings and you will see an amazing change in your nails, also! 💅🏻♥️

    I am a man and do nothing to my nails except snap them. Why do you remove the cuticles on the nails? I think the cuticle is there to close and protect the transition from the skin to the nail. It doesn't look good afterwards either, so roughened up. My naturally left nails look better.

    • @Isissa125
      @Isissa125 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Pushing back the cuticle is necessary for polish/gel/artiticial nails to be put on top. And snapping your nails will make them split and fray.
      You don't actually remove cuticle connected to living tissue btw, the cuticle remover and the white skin that comes off the nail plate is all dead and stuck to the nail plate but no longer protecting it from infection.

    • @TheSalonLife
      @TheSalonLife  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I agree but to be exact its not even pushing cuticle back but removing it from the nail plate once its past the skin. Like you said. Thats the part that is no longer protecting the space between the nail and the skin.
      If you put polish over that dead skin it will peel off and it wont look nice and neat.
