How is kcmo more exiting ? It’s full of shootings and crime especially near downtown. Power and light district is failing too.

Can you define what you mean by "Power and Light is failing?" How so? I see a lot of things coming up in the downtown area.

@@LivingInKansasCity-JaylennWong it doesn’t pay for itself. Just look at the debt it’s created for the city. Just google P&L district debt

@@LivingInKansasCity-JaylennWong just read about the P&L district debt. It’s because people are moving to far away places like JOCO lees summit and northland. The city is getting somewhat hallowed out because of the crime in the area.

@@LivingInKansasCity-JaylennWong there’s maybe a few apartments going up. But the sales taxes are really high around downtown. They have to pay for the P&L district and the new streetcar. Not to mention the crime. The city is making some pretty bad decision imo

It seems like the debt that the city has incurred has attracted a lot more in business and revenue. I would say that it is worth it, wouldn't you?

I live with my friend in an apartment in Overland Park but there is one good bar I like to go to, I just don’t like the downtown or westport area for nightlife because it’s dangerous at night sometimes, drinks are expensive.

Hi there! It's going to be hard to answer this question without knowing more information. What are you looking for in coming to the US? Are you looking to find a great job? Are you looking to get married and start a family?

The classic “there’s nothing to do in Overland Park and it’s too suburban”. Lol actually kcmo has higher single family housing rates than Overland Park and Overland Park is denser and has a higher overall job density . There’s places like chicken n pickle ,”serve” pickle pall, pinstripes, bowling alleys, some cool bars, escape rooms, axe throwing, Top golf There’s plenty to do in Overland Park it’s actually ranked as one of the most popular cities for millennials. You’re just listening to kcmo people talk trash on op because they jealous of the high income. Unless you want to get drunk and grind at a club in Westport next to a shooting.

Thanks for your opinion, but I’m not listening to any of the KCMO people “trash talk.” It’s just my opinion that OP is pretty boring. With two young kids, I like the Missouri side better simply because of the Zoo and Science City. All of the things that you said are in OP are in the Missouri side as well. I would totally live in Overland Park, but I think respectfully think you’re wrong about this.

@@iknowdeweybrudda6564 Not SkyZone, but the Farmstead is a constant in our rotation. We love it there! What we thought was underwhelming was the Museum at Prairefire.
