I would say the South Plaza neighborhood is still a very popular neighborhood to move in to.. My fiance and I just moved into a high-rise, and we see U-Haul's and moving trucks all the time..
I live in Roeland Park. The home across the street from me sold in 4 hours. That is what the previous owner told me. Obviously I can't confirm that story. The the owner also told me that it sold for above asking price. The asking was $345,000 for a three bedroom two bath.
Brookside may be enchanting. I lived there for 2 years. But when 14-16 year olds show up from blocks over in a group of 4-6 in the middle of the night; only then will you learn how close you are to a certain area.
kc full of abondon lots building houses there is no shortage or those place would get snagged up n flipped, problem is theres only luxuiray high end homes n apartments bein built n flipped theres no shortage of that the only shortage there is a afforable home shortage in certain areas. like u said the afforable homes are ones that sell instantly but you can have your pick of new or old high end luxurary homes there tons of those threw out the area now and feel like thats all there building , every new devolopment is luxuray high end or at least they all claim to be and are over priced for the area
