Thank you for the tips!! As a Floridian who’s going to Vancouver this fall for a few months, this was super helpful and such a relief to know I won’t have to get a bunch of new gear that I won’t be able to use once I’m back in Florida 😅
Thank you! We just moved to Saskatchewan from Belize, Central America, and its been quite a learning process figuring out how to dress warm enough, but not get too warm. I like to go on walk/jogs on the long gravel roads beside fields, and the wind is so cold. I'm using my ASICS trail runners with thick insulated socks and its working nicely.
Glad you enjoyed it! 😊 Oh wow, that must have been quite the adjustment! The wind is the worst and can cut through even the warmest clothes. Glad you’ve found a good combination with your wool socks and trail shoes!!
Another excellent video! I wear the Brooks Ghost GTX in the winter. This version is waterproof with a Goretex lining. I also wear some gaiters to keep the snow/slush from coming over the top. We get a lot of snow (slush, rain, etc...) during the winter here in western New York. I am also on team mittens - they are much warmer than gloves.
Tracksmith has a new set of running mittens works quite well for me. They are roomy enough to add hand warmers on really cold mornings.@@amyspurrcaveney
Hello from Maine! I love your new balance half zip 😂😊 I am a new subscriber. Been running since I was a little kid. I have six children and ran with them all!
I sometimes apply KT tape or similar tapes on shoes that are very breathable to block out wind. It also keeps the shoe clean!
That's such a great idea! Thanks for sharing :)

Thanks Tom! Oh that’s so cool it has a gortex lining. What brand of mittens do you like to wear?
