    I bought the 153 lb. bag in Oct. 2018 and noticed about a 2.5" tear near the top at the water line about two months ago. Water sprays when punching it and I'm thinking it may one day tear all the way at once. I'm ordering a Title Wave H20 Monsoon right now. I have the black one being used in the video plus red and blue round one's in different sizes and have had no problems with them.

      @@exchangeofwisdom8475 I like it a lot. Haven’t been able to use it as much as I’d like because I threw my shoulder out so I’m taking it easy. Hopefully be able to to use it more in the future. The only issue, is a minor one, is that the ridges can hurt the hands a little bit, but the easy solution is too put some protection on the hands. Problem solved.

    I'd recommend using dish soap to help work the shackle into the bag eye loop...using WD-40 risks reacting with, and weakening the rubber compound.

      Hey there, welcome to the Dungeon Squad! If you are only able to do one bag at this time, I would recommend something like this bag here, a body snatcher bag, or an uppercut bag. Something where you can not only work on your straight punches but your hooks and uppercuts as well. Thanks!

    • @dungeonboxingclub
      @dungeonboxingclub  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes I do have the head hunter version, it can really take a hit. Only downsides is for some reason it’s really hard when filled up and you get a lot more swing from it due to its smaller size.

    Would you say that it can build your shoulder muscles just as good as regular bags? When I hit I feel like I need alot of resistance pushing back to get the arms feeling swole you know..txs

    • @dungeonboxingclub
      @dungeonboxingclub  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Oh absolutely, I feel these water bags allow you to go much harder due to the fact they are a bit softer to the hit. The harder you go the better the pump you’ll get.

    Good video bro. Hey do you think I can use the bag for muay thai too and of course boxing? . I was gonna get a longer bag but my 17 year old likes the tear Drop bags..he wants to use them for kicking,kneeing and boxing .
    I have elbow tendonitis so I was looking for something softer and this looks like a good softer bag that will be easier on my joints?? It also resembles a tear drop bag. Do you think this should work for my needs? .My son is a wrestler who used to fight in muay thai and boxing. We both will be using bag just for cardio and to have fun with it since I used to do some boxing and muay thai myself. Thank u.
    I also been checking out the liquid shock bag that has foam outside and I think a bladder inside for water so it supposed to be softer and good on joints?
    But like I mentioned before son likes tear drop bags.

    • @dungeonboxingclub
      @dungeonboxingclub  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      These are definitely better for your joints, the aqua bag brand has proven to be the best shock absorbent in my opinion. Not sure if these will work well for kicks, we teach solely boxing. Thanks for watching!

    • @dungeonboxingclub

      It’s best to place the bag in a spot where it won’t need to be moved, in the event that it does, you’ll have to bring the bag down and drain the water.

    Great video! What size shackle would you recommend? I just got the 153 lb Hydroblast and they did not include a shackle. I thought about getting a swivel jaw instead so that the bag can rotate freely, but I'm not sure if that would really be ideal with a water bag.

    • @dungeonboxingclub
      @dungeonboxingclub  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I usually use a 1/2” shackle with the heavier water bags. I’ve used a swivel before on the larger aqua bag and it didn’t work well due to the weight of the bag, could have been a cheap swivel or rated for a lighter weight though 🤷‍♂️.

    • @repeataftermeme75
      @repeataftermeme75 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Damn, I was gonna say you should either get the bruiser bag or a traditional heavy bag that’s heavier because I’m comparing my weight to yours. I’m don’t know your height but I assume you’re taller than me. Then I saw the reply left and was a bit shocked. I use Aqua Bags Bruiser bag which can weight up to 160. I got it mine filled all the way to the plug which would be on the middle back of the head. I’m 166lbs at 5’5 in a half. I’m moving it around easy. I’m no pro or iron Mike myself, but I’ve always been a puncher since a toddler. Growing up, ppl always said I hit hard and even now. My neighbors down the street about 6 houses down would ask my what’s the loud banging. It’s me they hear. I’m will say the rubber and leather can produce a loud slapping/thuddish/ring if you hit it hard enough and depending on the environment. I got one neighbor who stands about 40 yards away over the fence watching me every now and then when I hit the bag. Kind of creepy to be honest. I didn’t believe it until I started recording myself about how hard o was hitting. Still not convinced because I did wanted to be a boxer. Unfortunately t never happened. I’m 33 now so yeah lol. I do dedicate myself to the heavy bag workout though. My point being is I know I hit harder than the I should for my size for someone who’s never got training, but even if you’re ok at punching you should get a bag that’s right for your size. I’ve always gotten bigger bags because all the smaller ones broke. Just got a new stand because I broke wielding on my old one. My set up is trash, but I work with what I got. I enjoy myself and have fun. Actually thinking about putting up a video or two of me in slow mo but a bit shy about it. Aside from working out I use it as a stress reliever. Any who, I’d go with at least a bag that weighs as much as you. Even though you’re not trying to be iron Mike, you’d still be facing someone your own weight. Will say the aqua bags can be messy when Letting them drain. Especially since f it the big ones. They can be slippery. Unfortunately got an all dirt backyard so draining it sucked when my last stand broke. Got a little muddy.

    • @lex.cordis
      @lex.cordis 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They are the exact same thing. For example, the Aqua Training Bag is literally manufactured by Taylor Made. They are all just rebranded.

    • @jakepayne2985
      @jakepayne2985 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@lex.cordis Well, for the most part, but that’s not entirely true as I just bought one of each to see the difference. The material feels slightly different, and the Aqua Training people must do something to the blow hole to alter it, cuz their sensors would not go into the regular water buoy, only the Aqua brand.

    • @dungeonboxingclub
      @dungeonboxingclub  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      So I had a parent donate some of the water buoys to our club, yes they are the same manufacturer of the aqua bags but they material is more of a hard plastic where the aqua bag has more of a rubber feel. For that reason I haven't used the water buoys.
