I have an aqua bag. I chose that one because i keep it outside in the back patio and it can withstand the elements, and is a good overall heavybag. If anyone is looking for a cheap aqua bag just look for boat buoys or bumpers. Its the same thing without the paint and much much cheaper.

I have been enjoying the mushroom-shaped, upper cut bag. The one at my gym seems to be a low/medium weight with a bit of a bungee cord at the bottom.
Different shaped targets are fun, plus it moves around just enough to remind me to utilize footwork.

I have 2 100 lb Ringside hanging heavy bags, a 60lb uppercut bag, a 65 lb Title Big Bang bag and a speed and double end bag. Believe it or not I use all of them because they all have different purposes for training but I do favor the 100 lb heavy bag for interval workouts. It’s heavy enough to give me some resistance but light enough that with a good hit or 2 it moves enough to help defensive technique and footwork.

Tony has been my wingman for the past 10 months of boxing training, unknowingly to him... I'm stuck with whether to go for a 'wrecking ball' or 'traditional heavy bag' type of bag for home and what to prioritise. The wrecking ball allows for uppercuts and movement, whereas the heavy bag allows for body shots and less movement. I'm leaning towards the wrecking ball to focus on combinations (with uppercuts) and movement as I have power for days but slower than most. My Coach is not a fan of the aqua ball feel either, and kind wish there was a 'heavy' angle uppercut bag to solve for both Uppercuts and body shots. Anyway change my mind TH-cam...

Dont put an everlast sand bag outdoors, the bag itself could take it but all the water weight made it keep breaking stands and leak black liquid when i punched. Then this one time i went out to train in the winter and my gloves kept me from noting the bag had frozen solid, didnt find out till i decided to practice full force shin kicks... it was brisk.

If I could only choose one Id probably go with a 21” (23”?) water bag because you could still get upper cuts on that bag as well as good hooks & everything else & its softer on the joints.
Plus it wont soak in rain water outside but Id recommend covering in a white garbage bag when not in use if you live in Fl Arz etc because the sun will destroy them fairly quick.

Short answer for me - all of them are good and useful.
The differences are small but they all serve a purpose.

Recently my dad passed away. Before this happened I used to go to the gym a lot to do some bag punching. Rn I have to care for my mum and I can't leave the house as much, so I'm looking for a nice bag to use at the house... I can't decide if I should get an aqua bag, a maize bag or just a 180cm heavy bag.
I mostly want to use them to increase my stamina and get rid of my frustrations, but idk what to get

Cant decide whether to get a TITLE T extra wide load bag (140lb soft one that you like), or a 300lb heavy bag?
Rocky Marciano put his knock out power down to using a custom made wide 300 pound bag so maybe a 300lb one woudl be better than that big fluffy title t bag? I was told afer a while a 100lb bag becomes too easy and not enoigh resistance to hit, and better to go heaveir?

If I could only fit 2 bags in my home gym what two bags would you recommend? Also I love your videos, best boxing content out.

I have an Kickboxing heavy bag with about 70 kg in my attic and I'm thinking about adding a maze bag to my Repertoire in order to get a better form for my uppercuts and high kicks. I am not sure, which weight would make the most sense though.
    Any recommendations?

My heavy bag is the hardest bag I've ever hit! It's a decathlon 5' long 50kg leather bag and it's like hitting concrete!
I'm kinda getting used to it but wonder if I'm damaging my hands each time.
Have you ever used a bag that feels too hard? And would you get rid of it if you did?
