I love mine I've got around 500+ rounds threw it, both range and defensive ammo, no issues or malfunctions, I would also like the 4"comp version good shooting!

Just got my three mags replaced via sig. Same magazine jamming issues. Sig is trash now.

Sorry to hear that. Honestly, I never had another failure to feed after that first one, and never a magazine issue. I wonder what is causing some of the magazine issues. I've seen others have the same issue. My guess is that the spring they have designed may be too weak. I know when I load them it seems too easy to load.

How many rounds do you have through it now?

350 maybe, still just that one misfeed. Those hard cast I was using have a more abrupt transition to the casing, so I'm guessing that's why it got hung up on the feed ramp.

I wonder how much the recoil is mitigated with the integrated comp version.

I'm a fan of the P320 platform, so it's on my bucket list to get one of those lol. But honestly not sure how the comp would handle recoil. My story with the XTEN, is I already had a compact M&P that I use for carry. So I wanted to get a full size handgun since I already had a carry gun. If you are looking for something for CC, I'd bet the Sig comp version of this would be good. I've heard good things about it. The XTEN is pretty heavy when loaded with a full mag... and with the heavier barrel it really seems to mitigate, but not sure on the comp. I guess it all depends on what you want to do with it.

@@northdakotaplinking9794I have nearly 5k rds through my XTEN and love it. Finally picked up the XTEN Comp, put about 400 rds through it and was speechless. It manages recoil a tad bit better than the original XTEN and begs to run fast!
The comp is night and day different than the M&P 2.0 Compact 10mm… sadly my M&P is a jammomatic. IMHO, the 2.0 Compact would be a gun carried more than shot. It’s pretty slim and lightweight, but recoil is “significant” compared to the XTEN Comp. I shoot norma spec ammo exclusively.
The XTEN Comp’a slide is girthier than the original XTEN. I suspect it’s done like that to add some weight back to the slide since the comp’s slide is .75 of an inch shorter than the original XTEN. Also, the comp has a recoil spring assembly kind of like the dual spring Glock in their Gen 4 guns.

Still having good results with the holosun 407?

Interesting you should ask. I got this gun at a local store... which is great.... But they said they would put the red dot on for me , so I said cool. When I went back to pick it up, they told me that the screws in the kit were too long. So they had to put in 'different' screws. After my review and a box or 2 of ammo, the holosun worked itself loose. I re-attached with blue loctite and let it cure. It only stayed put for another box maybe of ammo. So I talked to a gun smith today, and he says sometimes you have to get the right screws from the manufacturer. That's where it stands now... I haven't contacted them yet. Do you have a Holosun ?

@@northdakotaplinking9794 not currently, I was told that the holosun EPS enclosed optic would work… but I have also heard that the Sig Romeo 2 and RomeoX are the only two made to handle the 10mm force… someone else told me the Trijicon RMR might work… lol… then just yesterday, I heard a rumor that a version of the sig M17 optic would be released for the X Ten… this would for sure work the best. Not sure if anyone can confirm the special version of the M17 made to fit… I might hold out for a bit… it seems like an expensive experiment… but I applaud you.
