If you take a film class, you'll learn that nine times out of ten, those little touches you see in movies that we often overlook were done on purpose, especially a movie like Terminator where it was clearly well crafted.

There will never be another movie like The Terminator. That's why Hollywood should just give it up already and stop with the petty sequels. The original had Stan Winston's effects, James Cameron's directing, Arnold was young and arguably still in his prime, Linda Hamilton's intensity, and of course Brad Fiedel's haunting score. That is why none of the sequels match up, bar the 2nd one (which had effectively all the same elements mentioned above). Seriously, leave this series alone now. Edit: having now seen Terminator: Dark Fate, I’ve changed my mind. Make another movie: it’ll be hilarious when nobody shows up to see it.
