I'm from '93. But I'm just in love with 80's and 90's music and movies. And I'm surprised that so many colleagues from my office have the same opinion.
The 1980's TV shows had some good tunes too. Specially Miami Vice. Not to mention the beginning intro songs (Knight Rider, MacGyver, L.A. LAW, Dallas, ALF, Moonlightning, Midnight Caller, Spenser For Hire, etc, etc...)
The 80s was a helluva decade, I was 16 thru 26yr old and remember the great movies and music. What a era to have lived thru, I had an absolute blast those 10 great years.

Sometimes, I want to see a movie where I can check in my brain at the door and just see good guys blowing up bad guys who deserve it. The '80s was unmatched. From sports and movies to music and tech breakthroughs, it was a the best of times as growing up and becoming a teenager surrounded by Dad, uncles and other men who value strength character, self-respect and family honour as life role models.
I remember seeing this at Square One with 3 buddies when it came out. We were mesmerized by the movie. When the credits rolled we stuck around to hear this tune. It rocked but we had no idea who it was.

The '80s was unmatched. From sports and movies to music and tech breakthroughs, it was a the best of times as growing up and becoming a teenager surrounded by Dad, uncles and other men who value strength character, self-respect and family honour as life role models.
Not to mention the era of the best concept cars. Nobody does concept cars anymore, everything comes off from an assembly line these days.

@@Mogamishu Square One is a large mall in Mississauga, Ontario Canada. When I was a kid it was the mall to go to. It is now one of those super high malls. I do t even know if there is a theatre there. That was over 30 years ago now. Wow.
Square One! GTA born and raised here too. I lived in Markham so our local threatre was The Promenade, but in the late 90s my brother and I used to go to Playdium when it was at Square One.
