I've always gobbled with mouth calls , this fall I thought I'd change it up and packed a box call , I had a pair of camo knit gloves on and holding the call with the handle facing away and between fingers quickly rattled of a nice gobble due to the gloves they took some of the sharpness out of the sound and to me it was great sounding, give it a shot maybe you'll have the same result. The coyotes and turkeys seemed to like it also , coyotes at 12 yds. no decoys I don't believe in them.
I have yalls chick magnet raspy and sweet top for my box call. And they work really good. Doesn't take so much room. Like having 2 box calls. Goobling on it does work great!

Mine didn’t come with a rubber band
Do all of your Box Calls come with a rubber band for gobbling? Or will any band work?
Any will work just make sure it is secure and doesn’t make a noise when bounced around
1.) it’s annoying
2.) it can spook turkeys
And for the gobble any will work

it works with mine, and mine has a screw spring as the hook up.
I bought that same call and i didn't get a rubber band i just got a piece of chalk ??

Do you think it is better to box gobble or gobble with a rubber shaker ?
Can you gobble with the Lil' Hookup too? I bought it the other day and it didn't come with a rubber band.

A. Music, serously? No. B. Terrible gobble. easier to just hold the box and shake top back and forth, much more control
