Looks like the only thing that's changed is the switch from micro usb to usb c, still my favorite keyboard but would have been nice if they updated it a little more.
take a look at other reviews (and I agree with it since I have a 915 and 915x to compare) the overall feel is different (more sturdy, more "mech"), keycaps can be taken off easier, different mounting system for the keycaps, keycaps have a different texture (you can see it in the video, less smooth so I assume not going to develop too much shine easily?). So a nice upgrade overall, but still a bit too pricey if you ask me. 199 would have been great (dollar). For now I do think that the old one might be a great deal for some, got myself one for like 130 (EUR), which is still great value for what the old one gives you.

Battery Life is better on teh 915 X, USB C Connectivity, while the 915 used a micro USB connection. Actuation Point: 0.05 in (1.3 mm) smaller than the g915. Meaning the distance for your button press. That's it. You couldn't go wrong with either. Make sure to use my link in the description and promo code to get 10% off as well. Hope that helped
as stupid as this sounds.... Hey I thought G915 was a perfect keyboard and here I am upgrading over the simple fact that it FINALLY has a USB C port. Minor annoyance that just always found it's way to annoying me.

I talked about the features that it has and what they do, because it's a keyboard. Such as the distance of the keys being pressed, the volume wheel and media features. But i also highlight the difference between the G915 and the G915 X. But if there's something else you want, let me know
@@varunaX Absolutely. It's pretty much pointless without that. I'm looking at this but I already have a G515 that lets you remap ALL of the keys. I'll be using it in tandem with may main keyboard, simply to trigger Photoshop shortcuts.
@@MDee14 not correct. Original has painted ABS Kailh blade customs, the new ones are cross-mounted PBT doubleshot, and the numeric keys have lit symbols

@@street1008 i had some friends who had their micro USB bend, or just want to have the convenience of having USB connection. So not stupid at all
Also there is G6-G9 macro key instead of the old M1,M2,M3 and MR keys which I rarely use.
