Good luck to you! Enjoy your videos. I just started a channel and while it's cold here I'm trying to learn the art of making videos. Stay safe out there!
Good luck with your new years resolutions . I've recently watched a few of your videos as I keep looking for everything i can learn about that scrambler 900. I want one!!!. I've also obsessively been watching adventure moto and other vlogs for quite some time also to learn. I want to start my own channel so trying to learn what works & what doesn't. I watch everyone from Itchyboots to Motobob to Fortnine and all channels in-between. Yes i confess, I'm about to offer some unsolicited advice, but it's i promise it's well meant, because I think if you focus on the important bits you'll be good & never mind a thousand. Shoot for ten thousand. You already have a brilliant channel name and your ideas for the coming year fit in well. The most important thing you need is a consistent story line & that links each episode. Ride & ramble is not a story line. For your family and mates that'll do, but for the rest of us you need a story we can connect to. Look at itchyboots, in 5 years she now has over 2 million subscribers. On the other hand Kriga of " On her bike", has been travelling the world for nearly eight years and has about 350,000. Yes that's good but kriga is very inconsistent with uploading, her vlog topics are random, so no real story there & she has a bad habit of uploading videos about 6 months after the fact. With itchyboots you feel like you're on the journey with her and every vlog is an exciting story that picks up where the last one left off. If you really want to do this, what you will be & need to be is a film maker. You look into yourself and find the story you can tell. Myself besides being obsessed with bikes I'm an historian with a masters in ancient history. My single greatest fascination is with the Arthurian legends and Boudicca. My story will be to connect those myths, legends & heroes to the landscape and places that they arose from. When I run out of heroes and places in Britain I'll go in search of Joan of Arc and Jason and his Argonauts & the golden fleece. That's what I mean by, you need a story line. You already have a very articulate voice and you don't um & ah. You'll be brilliant, you just need to discover your own story line. Good luck & happy new years!.
