    Beautiful part of the world. Lived in Issaquah for 5 years. I’m back in Kansas living my dream. Shawn Kelly ie; Corporals Corner sent me to your channel. Thank you for your service 🇺🇸.

      Thank you, a retired buddy of mine was the police chief in Issaquah several years back. That area has grown quite a bit in the last 10 years. Glad you are living your dream and taking the time to check out the channel. As we grow please let me know if there is anything I can do to make the experience better. D

    I'm new to Washington, I'm in the Northern Everett area. This trail looks beautiful, would love to hike it. I came over here because of Corporal's Corner. He recommended your channel on his latest video. I have subscribed, and I will continue to look forward to your content.

      Hi Asimov, this area is awesome for trails and outdoor activities. If you have not checked it out yet go get a free account with the Washington Trails Association. They have almost every trail in the state documented and you can view and leave trip reports from other hikers. I have never seen anything like it in any other state. Thank you so much for viewing and commenting.

    Awesome job, Dustin! Looks like it might be a great hike when it gets a little too hot in town, head to the woods and get close to that refreshing running water!

      Thanks Rebecca! It is a great location for that. I walked around a bit with water socks/deck shoes and the water felt comfortable, not crazy cold. D

    While I've only been in the PNW for 4 years I haven't ventured out much outside of Central OR in and around the I-5. Thankfully I heard about your channel from Cpl. Kelly and look forward to more of your adventures. Keep up the great work ... from another ADHD adventurer

      Thank you Keith! Have you done the Trail of 10 falls in Oregon? That one is on my list. My dad is getting up there but he is in great shape and wants to do it. We will likely hit it soon.

      From what I hear it is a great hike all year, but I bet it looks incredible during the small window of leaves changing in the fall. Might have to try that.

    What a beautiful state with diverse areas to visit. Are these places maintained through tax dollars and require a pass or they free to the public?

    • @attentiondeficitoutdoors9134
      @attentiondeficitoutdoors9134  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Suzi, the locations I visit are a mix of City/County, State, National park. Along with that come some other complexities related to old growth which have pretty strict regulations that even exclude pets. This waterfall hike is City/County and the trailhead parking is free not requiring a pass. I carry a national park lifetime pass that covers many state locations and also have a lifetime state park pass for reduced camping and boating fees. A lot of diversity in this state and plan to show off as much of it as I can.

    Out of curiosity are these strictly hiking trails or could I use my bicycle out there as well ? Yes, I checked you out because of Corporals Corner's recommendation.

      Hi Tyler, this trail specifically can have bikes as well as horses. It does get a bit tight close to the falls so a bike might need to be carried some. There are many different State and National forest trails up here. All with what can be a complex web of rules. Thanks for asking, I need to work some more detail into the overviews to convey some of this info to people. Thank you for watching. D
