Can you please detail the firmware tweaks you made for the 5015 fans for the heated chamber part? I'm assuming you rooted the printer and made a config change to enable the spare pin on the mainboard?

Excellent video! I was just hoping to see a support to change the position of the 3D filament spool.
Looking into getting the K1 Max as my 3rd printer. Are these upgrades compatible with it or have equivalents that work with the Max?
Some of them are compatible, like active bed heating, auxiliary blast, side fan cover,270 degree door hinge and so on
Great vid will these work on the K1C?
This is an awesome video, I have had alot of these problems with my preorder K1 and will be implementing most of these upgrades. I would be really curious to see how the printed extruder compares to the newer creality model (i ordered the new one but plan on making the printed one out of my old extruder as a backup or for another build). I also used the same clip for the bowden mount but i found the ptfe cable went to high up and I heated it with a lighter (or heat gun) and let it bend down a few degrees to make an easier transition to the bowden tube running on top of the chain link with clips.

Printed extruder was great as well, no changes in quality of prints, but changing filament was hard with that

Une très belle vidéo . Mais je pense un truc : elle a finalement imprimée toutes les pièces qui lui fallait , donc elle marche bien . En plus il dois avoir fait pas mon de 50h de print juste pour l’améliorer ? J’ai la k1 max avec le nouvel extruder . Je n’ai amélioré que le dessus pour l’aération . La nouvelle buse arrive bientôt . Mais après 100 h toujours pas de soucis à part le bouchage que j’ai eut ( pla normal a grande vitesse et la chaleur qui est remonter trop haut .)

What kind of plastic are the parts printed on? PLA?
I have used PETG/PLA/ABS depending on the part, but I would suggest using only ABS as most of the parts should be high heat resistant

USB dust cover? cover above LCD for holding in temp?

Ролик прикольный, чувак заморочился нехило... А с кинематикой оси Х ничего делать не пришлось? Вертушка на хотэнде шумная и вибрирующая. Я поставил от sunon 5015 - она не издает вибрации при вращении и слышен только шум завихрения воздуха... Можно поставить вертушку 5020, говорят она ещё тише. Кноми - это прикольно, но бесполезно в данном исполнении. У меня есть тоже кноми, но я его на принтер так и не поставил, он у меня на столе в другой комнате и там от него больше пользы, я вижу состояние печати принтера удаленно...

If you are going to swap out the heater block, I'd go one step further and go to the Flowtech from Micro Swiss. I've been happy with it on my K1 Max.
Oh yeah, that was little expensive for my budget, but that is game changer upgrade!

Yeah, I have done it, it is the most cheapest printer that you can upgrade

I love this video content, but if I need to do this much stuff by myself to make it better, I don't want it... About the same task as my CR-10 or Ender3. I want an iPhone for my next purchase, maybe bambulab is a better option for me?

@@engineericly K1, I have a friend with 1rst layer issues and I think maybe are the bed or the extruder... Even both.
You should change out the pulleys to get rid of VFAs

Even with a tall open riser and temp controlled room my K1 Max still suffers heat creep issues and clogs in the extruder anytime there is a print that has a large volume on the bed.
Which material causing the clog?
@@engineericly PLA. Heat creep is terrible on some of these K1s.
What is your chamber temperature?
This guy turned essentially turned an apple Iphone into a tesla phone. Wish there was these upgrades to the bambu lab x1's (esthetically)

You need to cut the wires to the extruder and add in new connectors on the 4 wires. That way you don't bend the connector that is on the hot end. I have a max with one pin bent. 950 dollars with a 1/2 a cent connector. F U creality.
