I always love your demos. Your playing is awesome, your playing feel, vibe & positive energy. That's the way your heartfelt explanations are as well. Great job, always... thanks bro!
I didn't come to see this guy play or hear his endless yakking, I came to see what the pedal can do, which is the idea of a demo. The guy showed me next to nothing.
hello everyone at Premier Guitar 8 I'd like to buy a new delay pedal....instead of my T-Rex Reptile 2 ( i do not need a tap delay and many pots too...) I play Gilmour, U2 and slapjack delay when I use It ! I already tried the Malekko 616 (red version) delay and want to know which one between the Vapor Trail and The Malekko 616 is the warmest , the more analog sounding pedal for what I want...? thanks a lot for your help, best regards from france, Bélo
The whole deal of the pedal is the fx loop and you just talked about it. But what really kills me is that vapor is actually spelt 'vapour'. Not your fault I know.
"There's no tap because it's analog." There's plenty of analog delays with tap tempo like the Supa Puss, Diamond Memory Lane, Memory Boy Deluxe, ... That knowitall comment aside, sounds pretty good. I don't see what it adds to the market but more choice is always better.
Pure analog delays don't have tap tempo because in a true analog delay the delay time is controlled by varying voltage. In analog delays with tap tempo the tap tempo circuit is digital by necessity. That's not to say that the delay circuity on those pedals isn't analog, but to purists it makes a difference.
Most of those pedals use DSP for the tap tempo if I recall, so to a purist they're not "true" analog delays, regardless of what other circuitry might be in the pedal.
Thanks but way less Kerrang and chat would be good - it's a pedal demo and I want to know what character this one has versus the competition. Slash and burn power chords don't show that.
No demo of the effects loop? We know how a delay pedal works, JUST LIKE every other delay pedal but this has an effects loop the others don't have and you didn't demo it....stop talking and more demoing...
Possibly one of the worst demos I've seen. Half of the time wasted on blabbering about self-evident facts and half of the actual playing time wasted on slapback echo. Wtf? Really?
Let’s all admire the fact that they gave this pedal such a bad ass name!

Really good demo, I loved the modulated sound at about ten and a half minutes in!
Besides the pedal being cool, John is a hell of a player.

Amazing review!
John Bolinger is the best reviewer in years. seems like a cool guy too.
sick guitar as well, i dig it
I'd personally love to see this with the delay time as short as it can go and the repeats way up. I think it'd make a great reverb
It makes a great chorus with the modulation. The shortest delay is 15ms.
Sounds amazing!
Great review!!
Dude. Nice review.
forward to 7:30 if you want to hear what you came for and not for the ads of this guy....better look for another review of the pedal.
like the lucy in the sky with diamonds bit

FINALLY A PULSING light KNOB! Someone got smart.. Geeze. lol
Hm delay demo.....insert U2 stryle riff..............................
The sound is basic, the good feature is the pulsating knob, this is something actually useful to musicians.
Mista Sparkle!
its called a "dotted eighth"..
I didn't hear anything that's gonna make me replace my Carbon Copy.
Watch another demo video of this pedal if you want to know what it sounds like....or you can watch this dude goofin off
That's one sexy Les Paul John!

nope, vapour is canadian and british spelling, vapor is american
Oh 'on speak English already! 🤣😂

So who's the "#knowitall" now? 🤣😂🤣😂

What would you do without a whammy bar?
hablas mucho y mueves mucho la palanca de tu guitarra no dejas al pedal hacer bien su trabajo

No ur beautiful dude hey dude ye dude
This guy talks too much and can't seem to find the correct words to describe what he wants to say. Thing this and thing that. Bad review
"this pedal has this, which is great"
that was absolutely horrible.
And it's impossible to get the idea of what this sounds like with you just doing a little bit of finger picking....for goodness sake play the thing
