Living here must be like living in an expensive modern hotel. There is no charm to this house, it feels soulless.
It is up to a talented architect and inspired designer to create a good living space and then the owners need to turn it into a home.
But this house just feels like a project someone has thrown a lot of money at. The developer clearly had a particular type of buyer in mind. The one with a lot of money and little taste.
Just one question - why would you decide to spend money in England on buying a house and buy this?

This is a dreadful design and build IMO. Massive house, far too big for the plot, virtually touching the next-door property; Lifts taken straight from an office with stainless steel enclosures; Plastic (yes, plastic) windows throughout! Tiled ceramic floors over concrete superstructure, even in the bedrooms! - no wooden flooring anywhere. The marble wall tiling in the principle bathroom not even book-matched. Obviously location is everything, but with a 4 min walk to East Finchley Tube it's at the wrong end of The Bishops Avenue! Imagine a foreign buyer purchasing this to find out they are actually living in East Finchley rather than at the Hampstead end by Kenwood...Ha! Still, Fair-Play to the developer and E.A is they can swing this.

Houses the other side of the A1 will sell for a lot more than this.
Today, 60% of the homes on the street are owned by hard-to-scrutinize shell corporations registered in foreign tax havens like the Bahamas, Panama, and the British Virgin Islands, research by Insider has found.
The homes are magnets for those keen to stash large amounts of money where it might produce a reasonable return, while avoiding scrutiny.
The houses aren't being bought to put their families in, it's either for the above or bragging rights, in which case they would have to pay a lot more than £13 million to be at the Kenwood

Windsor House first came onto the market on 23.11.2011 with a guide price of £18.5m and I must admit when it launched as a brand new property it looked spectacular, but it was listed for a long time with no offers and quite a few price changes; significantly on 09.04.2013 the price was reduced down to £16m and again on 01.05.2014 the price was reduced once more to £12.5m before increasing up to £17m on 18.05.2015, and that was the last recorded date I have of this property. I've never once seen it under offer or even sold so I'm not sure if it has ever been lived in since it first came onto the market. The entrance hall and staircase is spectacular and has that wow factor, but I have to say after seeing this video walkthrough I'm beginning to understand why it has never found a buyer - the video is great by the way but the house is not that amazing when you see it up close and personal. As much as I liked this property when it was first listed in 2011 if I was fortunate enough to have £13.5m to spend on a Bishops Avenue mansion, there are many better homes than this one.

One of my colleagues has a pool that was like that, half indoor and half outdoor, soon learned it was not a great idea for a place that got cold and ended up sectioning it off as a separate indoor and outdoor pool. Think the planners force people to build to an “old world style” which does not work as each house looks so tacky when looking from near. Hampstead Heath has much better houses… these are just used as financial instruments, with many abandoned houses (hence they never have soul or a homely feeling).

Jessica's concept is key in beating all odds to excel in this form of online commodity. Her management team is quite impressive so far! With $4k I made a profit of over 28,863 dollar

Domestic architecture is about human scale, function and feeling that provides a personal statement, safety and security, charm and comfort, and says welcome to guests. The building, due to commercial scale and choices of finishes as well as space configuration and non domestic use, as well as its lack of charm and feeling is inhumane in design.

I think some of the rooms are okay, good colour scheme, nicely laid out. But I think the property is let down by the double staircase and the main entrance way, waste of space and to grande.

Another house with questionable interiors, seems to be a common theme in London, buy the house and poorly decorate it.

Not sure this is a home, looks more like a hotel lobby especially at the entrance with a lift smack in front as you walk in that massive space, maybe some pot plants and abit more green could make it feel homely but we all have different taste, agree the outside is better than inside.

It feels too dark and not enough natural light, whatever there is overtaken by the dark interior design. Overall, has great potential but the interior is lacking

Oh my. All you need is the many cleaners, cooks, gardeners etc..
Hardly cosy and homely. Just a ginormous dust magnet. Pushing unnecessary greed and opulence upon people of meagre means.

Mega impressive showoff home with one of the best entrance rooms I've seen!. Would be amazing to visit as a friend or to host parties. But agree with others it doesn't look as homely as some other properties for somewhere to stay long term. But I guess you can't have it both ways.
