Imagine telling people 30 years ago “you’ll be paying £8 million to live in wandsworth” 😂
Ten years ago
Imagine telling them today…..or next year the developer has done a great job..but it’s Wandsworth..direction Tooting…and the house is just over 4000 sq feet…including the mansard space..😂
My Battersea born and bred Mum would be gobsmacked if she was still with us. I used to show her house ads for quarter of a million about twenty years ago and she couldn’t believe it.
I'm a Londoner, born and bred. I wouldn't live there if you paid me.
@@eliakimjosephsophia4542 no chance you ever will tbf
Easily my favourite house you have shown so far. The interior is stunning and just to my personal taste.
7.5 is crazy valuation, only thing this house has that others don’t is off street parking. 3/4M house tbh and at an absolute push 5M not 7.5 though seen much better houses in Putney for around 4M
Really nice home, beautifully decorated and love the main bedroom layout, role out of bed, head into the ensuite and then move to the dressing room, then out of the secret door. No need to go back through the ensuite and bedroom. Love the annex too. Like the format where you two present together as well.
This is potentially my favourite property you have toured! Great job!!
I love this house! I can see myself in it, usually homes shown here are nice but something is off whether it be the size, price, layout or design. I would not change a thing here, wonderful colour palette used by the designer and although spacious didn't feel so large that you would be uncomfortable in it. Great home and in London, I think it's worth the price.
I absolutely love this house, makes me want to rip apart my house and redo it like this one.😍
You two sid an amazing job of presenting this classy home...the annex is a huge selling point, as is that amazing kitchen and dining area, with the annex courtyard for outdoor dining. Can't imagine what this would cost in London proper. Glad they're putting in the banisters soon, yikes. Very slick presentation guys!
For that price, I would expect the kitchen cabinets to go to the ceiling. I would also expect that the downstairs powder room toilet would not have a box built behind it and they would’ve taken the time to have placed the plumbing inside the wall, so it remained flush. It looks cheap and it makes me wonder what else they skimped on in this property? The same with the doors leading outside. They are all standard height where as I would’ve expected custom doors to go to the ceiling. Same with the wardrobe in the primary bedroom… Why didn’t they take the time to build it in properly and have it go to the ceiling? Have to say that the colour in the primary bedroom walk in robe and ensuite would have to go. It does not look fresh and looks really dated. They could’ve done a lot better there. The good things about the property… I love what they’ve done with the floor plan. I think it’s really smart. The wooden flooring is simply gorgeous and I love some of the Moody colours in the study space etc
Thank you for sharing this tour of very nice home. The off-street garage parking is nice.
Beautiful house !! Really nice house has a good feel about it 😊
One of the best homes yet.
Beautiful home , thanks
Gorgeous home!
Def a lovely home, so spacious and well designed...really liked the Marilyn Monroe astronaught picture too.
Great property tour Tom and Jaz
Stunning house!
I look forward to seeing the listing.
What a beautiful property 🥰
Another very nice house but the valuation is ridiculous. I’m sure that they think what’s it worth then triple it! Far too much for a small terraced house in what is an ordinary part of London. I love the annex though, it would make an excellent music room.
Absolutely beautiful, what a pad.
Your presentation is amazing, but I don't understand why the garage is almost always ignored. Anyone who has deep pockets to buy a multimillion home will probably have beautiful toys of 2 or 4 wheels.
The interior design and the appliances chosen were the best features. For this outrageous price I suppose it'll come furnished, won't it?
Other than that, no pool, spa, view, or lift in a dull area of London... it is very overpriced.
Agreed 🤝
Really well thought out house.
Lovely house but I hope they aren’t leaving the stairs like that all open to fall down!
3:43 The dining room table is an AFTERTHOUGHT, and is misplaced. Maybe in front of the fireplace. Uless they just never have dinner parties, which is what it sounds like
I really like this beautiful home
Dream home 😍
The tiled flood drive and garden is cool when there keep clean but I takes a lot of work to keep them clean as my garden is half like that as well
Tom’s face at the bottom of the laundry shoot! 😂 but also 🥰
Most dangerous Staircases I've ever seen. Bar that, stunning property
Clearly didn’t hear that banisters were going to be fitted.
@@kimberleywhite88 clearly dont understand sarcasm.
@@stevefitchett6193 How does sarcasm even belong here
@carolwilkins7286 how do you think you have the right to tell me where I can and can't use sarcasm?
Its amazing home
Ooh I like this one
If I could afford this, since I don't drink, got to remove that wine space and do something else with it. ...Thankfully the paint is not so BRIGHT WHITE! It's a nice layout and great space. That outside building is fantastic! Plus parking is a bonus. As long as they put up bannisters and rails of course.
These luxury homes like the massive bathrooms. My parents had a huge master bath in their house. Mom said master bathroom with too drafty and only used the guest bath! That staircase with no railing is freaky, but otherwise gorgeous house. I would personally have furniture with a bit of color.
I was so distracted by the lack of railing imagining all the ways someone would slip and fall to their death 🙃
Lovely,.
This is so beautiful and classic
having no bannister rails, is giving me anxiety. beautiful house but I wouldn't be able to go upstairs because of my fear
If you were listening you’d have heard him say they were being added.
@@simpli_iris never said they weren't, what I said was my anxiety would stop me going up, because I have a phobia about that sort of thing lol
where is Matt & Summer ? - Also can you find out where they got the Marlyn Monroe artwork from in the tv crèche area? Or at least I think it's her in a space suit and helmet.
Anybody else notices there’s no staircase banister or railings to prevent you from falling to your death?
The presenters did say that banisters were about to be fitted.
@@cdlc5256 so glad we were the ones paying attention.. I’ve had to reply to someone else commenting about the stairs.. 😊
Beautiful home, please, remember the garage tour too! For 7.5 million, I would be buying in Marbella, not London.
Very nice❤
The stairs are lethal
cozy house
Looks like Chanel or Armani store back in 90's . But its a great Home!
Under floor heating and wall mounted radiators???
LOVE
It's really the suburbs!!!
Wow, woow, wooow.
Love every bedroom has en-suite! Not a fan of the dark green colour though
Tom I like your coat
Beautiful House. It must be near Trinity Road.
Anyone know what paint colours the corridors and bedrooms are?
Good evening
Thank goodness you were okay with those staircases without rails. Brrrrr!
Love it!. I mean unlike those UK built 5 storey eastern european purchased over opulent converted monstrosities that now unfortunately line the capital, this although a large property, looks like a 'Home' both externally and internally, without being vulgar. Probably a product that reflects 'priceless style' in place of all of the former above.
Amazing house, but anyone who could afford it wouldn’t live in that area when they could live anywhere in the city.
Wandsworth...😶 l totally agree with you.
@@baileyboo9751 Is it very bad there? Why? :o im from mexico
@@hectormancillas6867 no it’s not bad, but it’s not really where the wealthiest residents live. With that kind of money you could live anywhere in London, so you’d probably choose one of the most desirable neighbourhoods, like anywhere from Chelsea or Mayfair up to Notting Hill, or Primrose Hill or North London near Hampstead. These are the fanciest places with the nicest restaurants, shops and bars, and they attract people who care about status.
Security would be a mega issue. No security gates & the public pavement is soooo close to the front door!
Hi Héctor, lts not bad, it's just the area and post code is nothing special to be wanting that much money in my opinion, the home owner is trying it. I just saw a house estate tour in Wales for 4 million 500. It comes with 35 acres, 3 grade ll listed houses. This house in Wandsworth is in London, yes, but l'd be very interested if the seller receives that price because l highly doubt it.
This looks like a house from Star Trek, and then across the road, there's the 1980s Eastenders set.
Why aren't the walls plastered outside in uk ?
I live near there, my house is only 4 mil tho x
When walling around with no banisters be very safe It looked almost like you only had couple of centimetres at most before fell down gap when on top floor be safe want more videos please
Gosh, the property is gorgeous, but I really wish they interior architects put more thought into planning out the spaces - everything from flow of people up to “bespoke” furniture not fitting in. The garden was by far the worst for me… For 7.5 million you’d expect to get more than a 4 seater sofa
Come on Tom, a central kitchen island in the kitchen - bruhhh!
Beautiful. This so much better than that 40.000.000 Mediterranean gypsy cosmos ugly mansion. Loving space and minimalism here. Amazing how in despite of that feels so cosy and safe. Btw. Whoever buys that 40.000.000 tomb, I recomend highly to dig for corpses underneath or tore it down and build a garden shed instead.
what is that art piece at 3:25 if anyone knows
Very nice but 7.5 million is ridiculous London pricing for a property that's in a terraced street and overlooked - no thanks.
first house I've seen without balustrades
no one else nervous about those stairs?? :D
What kind of jobs in London can support a 10 million dollar mortgage?
Pimping , selling drugs...
Works for me 🙊🙈🙉🤣🤣🤣🤣
Beautiful home, but at £7.5m it's a terraced house & not gated, so I'd be worried about security. Can't believe how close the public pavement is to the property's front door!
Please show floor plans for a bit longer
The way he says “head in here” “head through here” “head out here” drives me insane
The slumlords and low end builders call pavement + builder beige the "no maintenance/broad appeal" lewk. The "fresh paint" is easily corrected but the concrete flowerbeds usually take decades to unmuddle.
As someone in the glazing industry its a shame the developers didnt use real Crittal doors and went with the cheaper Aluminium option
Did they forget the balustrades on the upper floors?
This property would cost approximately £1.5M in Lincolnshire/ Lincoln
Why don’t the stairs have railing
What is Wandsworth?
There is no side entrance to the back garden, how do you bring out your bins or how do guest access the back garden if you don't want people to come through the main house.£7.5 Wandsworth. Hmmmmmm.!!
Feature fireplace but no real fire? Those stairs 😱
Apparently this property is under offer for Under Offer - £6,250,000
A drop of £1,250,000. Real price for this house should be £4m
DROPPED to 6,950,000
No handrails in main house safety issues as well as giving impression of not being finished what a let down otherwise a very chic house but doesn't feel homely
Those stairs desperately need balustrades
Jeeze for £7.5 million they could throw in some bannisters on the landings.
What, no guard rails on the staircases? Nice layout but doesn't sit well within the surrounding area.
Hello
Can you tell me how to buy this house?
If you look under the screen ther is the video title. Under that is the numbers of views, and at the end of that line is the word "more" in bold. Click on that and it will take you to a section where the listing agent details are shown.
@@cdlc5256 thanks
Crikey how much .
Beautiful house but it’s in a residential area and the stairs are hazardous.
Gorgeous home but I've not seen a house without banisters on the stairs. Style over safety.
beautiful home. the lack of railing for the stairs is terrifying.
The prices have gone through the roof, and the only reason why is that there are obviously still people with money who can afford such a property. Just makes me think about the "mere mortals" who are now having to pay top-dollar for shoe boxes, and the UK is in a recession...
❤❤❤❤
What about parking
By the way, the house is in SW17 not SW11, don't know why you'd put that
the amount of lights you'd need to keep this home out of a tim burton film is gonna cost you half of a normal person's paycheck
Nice house though I wud say 5 million most but is this normal thing design house in London upstairs with no railing that looks dangerous...
A normal house layout for once!
Someone’s gonna die cause of the stairs one day
Those stairs seem like a hazard especially for kids
The presenters did say that banisters will be fitted.
most people cannot afford the annex.
