It is so evident to me how dogs express how they've been hurt and how they open up and trust again with the right person who is patient and kind. Humans should pay attention to this!
I am a foster and was set up with a dog who had bit her previous foster when they were leaving the shelter getting into the car. That foster promptly returned the dog. I was the next foster in line and was told this dog would never be a lap dog. I was scared of her at first but as time went by, I realized she was the most loyalist dog I had ever seen. I could not get her off my lap. Boy were they wrong. 😁

I have a bella she was a bait dog. She was scared at first but once she saw my weak side during a blinding migraine she stayed with me. And now I have a nerve disease. For the past 9 years she has slept by my head. She has now started training my German shepherd how to sleep around my head during attacks and blindness. She has showed her how to escort me during a migraine that leaves me blind, warnings for others to back away or how to pin me against a wall and alert my husband. And no she was never taught any of this. She knows how to calm my autistic son during a meltdown, she knows when my daughters cancer is back. Bellas only letting my German shepherd learn my care because no one can ever replace her for my sons care she and him are beyond best friends. Bella is now 15....it terrifies me knowing one day she won't be there snoring away and drooling on my pillow.
That was challenging, because Bella had weight issues and needed to walk for exercise. But these great fosters didn't give up, and when Bella started to play, that was an important milestone!
That poor beautiful dog with her lovely eyes is in extreme discomfort... i.e. severely overweight from her 130 day shelter confinement but now looks finally so happy to be with her lovely new ownerd. xox The patience shown by the carers initially though set up the ground work of healing to make this possible. They are the world's heroes. FINE people WHO give their free time and love. Xox
I really feel for these so-called “difficult” pets. Their not difficult, they have been hurt and disappointed by humans. It takes very special humans to gain back the trust of these special animals. I cannot imagine how hard it is to learn to trust humans again. We as humans struggle to trust and forgive each other, and we have the gift of language to communicate our feelings and intentions with one another. These animals don’t have that. Sure, they have other abilities and senses that help them discern good from bad, emotions, etc.. But it’s much harder for them to understand that it is okay to trust again, that takes time, empathy, and compassion from humans. Especially when we don’t know how they were hurt and what they need to heal emotionally. I watch these videos and I’m always in awe of the difference these people make in these special animal’s lives. It’s truly beautiful.💜💜💜
I do admire people that foster . That’s the only way to help more animals in need . I just can’t . I absolutely can not at all . Once they come in , they stay .

What a sweet dog she turned into, once she learned to trust again. Props to you! I understand and appreciate it... But personally I could never foster. I'd be the world's biggest fail, never able to give them up!

He is beautiful just like all dogs, do not give up on that love. It has power, it will heal!
Made me cry. Happy cry.
It just takes some patience with most shelter dogs, thank you so much for your kindness, best wishes!
Chris DUDE YOU are AWESOME👍👍
I love this content. Wholesome. Wonderful. Its LITTERLY perfect to make me happy
FroggyWoggy you wouId make the perfect foster
It is so evident to me how dogs express how they've been hurt and how they open up and trust again with the right person who is patient and kind. Humans should pay attention to this!
This is really heart warming here, I guess all she needs was some space because she was in a shelter for 130days. Do you have a pet?
Can always count on having a smile on your face (ok, maybe mixed with a tear of joy) when you’re done with a Dodo video. ☺️👍
Love can conquer all!
Homegirl! 😅 that’s awesome 👏🏽
I literally cried this story and all their stories are so touching 🥰😍🥰🥲
Hello how are you doing? Hope you’re having a wonderful day!!
If it was me fostering her, I'm sure I would've failed. Awesome how you got thru her wall! 👍👍
Thank-you! How rewarding to earn her trust. She is no longer shut down but open to her new life. 130 days is so hard to endure for any animal.
Hello how are you doing? Hope you’re having a wonderful day!!
Beautiful beautiful
Hello how are you doing, Hope you’re having a wonderful day!!

Poor thing was depressed and in pain from being cooped up for so long. God Bless you for being patient and kind until she felt better and better.

Hey
So many good and loving people on this world. Thank you for caring for this doggo. Love, light and blessings 💙💜💖💜💙
What a great rescue. Bella gets her forever home and all the love she needs. What you and your family does is greatly appreciated. Another animal saved.
How did you let her go
It would have killed me
You do a great job getting these dogs ready for their next home 💕💕💕 👏👏👏👏👏

Absolutely incredible story I am always deeply touched when I see stuff like this on this channel brings tears to my eyes and restores my faith in humanity thank you so much for being patient and taking your time with that beautiful dog she was in the shelter for a quite a long time took her a while to adjust, you did a good thing though taking her in and being as patient and loving as you were God bless you and your family for what you have done
They are like parents when they let there 18 yr old child go off to college and live on there own😥💘
I have a bella she was a bait dog.
Hello 👋

Hey
People that have a heart for animals are just the best kind of people!!! Thank you for loving the critters!
My respect & love to you both for helping her become a happy dog. My prayers are with you. Keep up the good work.
Hey
I do admire people that foster . That’s the only way to help more animals in need . I just can’t . I absolutely can not at all . Once they come in , they stay .
These are good people, right here.
She is such a cutie...
Such a beautiful brown lab. I had a couple of them. But they both passed away years ago. I sure do missed them. Thank you for retraining her to make herself feel special by fostering her. I know it's hard to see her go to her forever home. God Bless!!
Old grumpy puppers love loving too 🤩
I'm actually crying my eyes out right now. Bella is an absolute sweetheart. Yay!
Thank you for your love and patience. ❤️
Hi how are you, I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
Lovely dog, you guys done such a good job 😀
Bella is beautiful !! I love chocolate labs so much !!!💖💖💖
What a sweet dog she turned into, once she learned to trust again. Props to you! I understand and appreciate it... But personally I could never foster. I'd be the world's biggest fail, never able to give them up!
So happy for Bella and grateful to Chris for getting her ready for adoption! ❤️
On one hand I am glad that my country doesn't have an issue with abandoned dogs/street dogs.
On the other, I would love to be able to foster dogs to help them find joy and love again.
