I took puppy from street dog, when i lifted puppy she jumped on me and look in her eyes was pure fear, her eyes were screaming dont take it from me please. I swear i never saw so much fear expressed through eyes. Puppy got sick and died soon after i took it, and his mom followed me to home and slept in front of my house so i took her
As soon as she gently ate the cheeseburger so as not to bite the person's hand, I knew it would be ok. She's such a wonderful dog. Thank goodness she was helped and her puppies are ok.
Those eyes looked so afraid in there, hungry, scared for her babies, not knowing if someone was about to hurt them or not. Glad they saw them and helped
I watch their channel all the time, they are some of the best rescuers! They spend a lot of time with the animals to make sure they are accepted, I have seen this video (the full version, and boy, was it a though one!) on their channel. Eldad is one of the most empathetic rescuers I have ever seen, he really connects with the animals... The huge smile on the mom when it was over and they had all the puppies in the cage is simply gorgeous! Good job Hope for Paws!!! Another perfect rescue.👏👏👏

I have seen other videos with that voice and he is always yelling at people who were doing very benign things. But they weren't doing them EXACTLY like he would do it. I'm sure he has a wonderful heart, but he needs to look at his control issues.
When he's holding her chin saying it's ok it's ok the look in her eyes is killing me.She doesn't know this is the greatest thing to happen for her and her babies yet.
A parent's natural instinct is to protect their babies and not trust any strangers. What a joy it was to see the RELIEF on Mama's face when she realized the people were there to help.
My mum was a single mother..my so called father ran away. There is nothing like a mother's love.she died during covid and i couldn't hold her hand. It broke my heart.

I've lost me younger and older brother and my Dad, all different events I'm not trying to make this about me but instead explaining I can atleast 1% relate. To be fair I think that the road noise had driven her a bit off her usual behaviour anyways. Combined with her post brith protective instincts it's little surprise she was like this.
The mother's eyes went from extreme concerned and anxious at the 1:00 mark during the rescue, to extreme joy and comfort at the 3:33 mark weeks later at the home. Brings so much joy to my day to see this. Thank you rescue team for your efforts, and Dodo for again sharing this to us :)
I like how trusting she became after they fed her. She realized they weren't going to hurt her or her babies and where there to help her. Her attitude changed very fast. And she let them do their thing.
I rescue dogs often, and one thing I've learnt is that feeding them is the fastest way to gain their trust. There's also a saying in our language which goes "feed a dog for three days and it will follow/ protect you for three years"

They were bred for hundreds of years to do so, and they like doing it. They have freedom, unlike most dog lover’s dogs who live by themselves, locked in someone’s house for most of their short lives. I love my family, but I cannot say that I love some stinky animal that drools and poops everywhere.

The mother and her puppies appear to be full-blooded labradors, healthy, and very trusting. This was not an abused stray in the typical sense, but a lovely rescue nonetheless.

Labradors are such an incredibly trusting breed. You could see in her eyes she was just warning out of fear but as soon as she knew they were there to help (& had food!) she let go. Beautiful Mama & pups.
What a horrible place to raise the puppies.. The noise of the cars Was driving me Mad. So glad that there are people out there who took care of this little family 💓

It's heartbreaking how many dogs & cats are abandoned & giving birth on the streets like this. Thank God she & her babies were rescued to safety! The look in her eyes....as she knew instinctively that they were all there to help her & her babies was just so heartwarming. I wish EVERY cat & dog could be so lucky!
Well they are supposed to be and thrive in the wild which we humans are encroaching. But does that mean we must domesticate all the wild animals? I totally agree with rescuing injured animals and the left behind ones. At least these should have some thing like sanctuaries IMO

I have absolutely no idea why you are comparing (?) the rescue of stray/abandoned/feral domestic animals to the very real problem of human encroachment on wildlife habitat or to the domestication of wild animals. Feral is NOT the same as wild -- feral animals are individuals of domesticated species (typically dogs, cats and horses) which are living "wild." Dogs do not thrive in the wild. Cats do not thrive in the wild, though they manage better than dogs. "Wild" (feral) horses also manage (the only true wild horse is Przewalski's horse of the Mongolian steppes, a different species than the domestic horse/pony). Feral pigs seem to do very well indeed. Dogs, cats and horses living "wild" (feral) are DOMESTICATED species, even if they have had zero human contact and remain untamed their entire lives. Feral animals do not live as long as well-cared for captive domesticated animals. When you gain a labradors deep trust they will trust only you for the rest of their life. My beautiful black lab flynn was abused by his breeder at a puppy farm in Scarborough UK and I believe when he came to me he bonded with me so much as he's greatful for me saving him from the torture he suffered as a puppy. Now he's constantly at my side and always feels much safer when he's touching me. That's the deep trust we share and nothing or no one can break us.

I did notice that, and though it was great they saved her and her pups, I felt bad that they were all about to be taken away from her forever… I hope whoever adopted her had the humanity to adopt at least one of her pups with her.
That's not a smile, that's just the dog attempting to relieve her stress through panting. She didn't know what was going on, but by that point her instincts likely told her that if the humans were going to harm her pups they would've done so already.
At one point she looked so worried you were stealing her precious babies. Then she looked and was wondering where this 'rescue ' was going. When she realised all her babies were close by she was happier, then when she was reunited with her babies she was definately more settled. So at the end you saw a big smile on her face, safe with her new family and her babies going to New homes. It's all in the face. You can tell so much with the looks you get.
Great ppl who are taking care of this poor mom and her puppies. It's so gut to see there is humanity and more ppl like myself in this world who truly do care and offer shelter and help where it is needed! You guys are great!!! THANK YOU!!!!
This made me cry. These beautiful dogs are just so innocent, it breaks my heart that there are so many homeless/stray dogs in America. Thank goodness there’s good people trying to make a difference.
The smile on her face when the last pups were being brought to the cage and she realised that she and her pups would stay together - my heart! ❤️🐾 She's a great mum!
The mom's face was so sad/ worried at first, then relaxed when puppies rescued. What a scary place she chose to give birth--no coubt she was desperate. God bless Eldad and his helpers.

I'm so happy you rescued her and her darling little puppies. She was really nervous at first, but you could tell she wanted to trust everybody. Being a new mommie she's taking a big step with her babies to total strangers. Once she realized she felt safer watching what you were doing with each newborn. Putting them all together and she saw you weren't harming her babies. I think that gave her comfort to trust. At the end of the video when her puppies were bigger and surrounded by them she looked so happy and very comfy. Good job everybody and God bless.
It's funny, whenever I see these type of rescues, while the puppies are adorable, it is always the Momma that steals my heart; I always would prefer to adopt the Momma. 💕
if you watch the original video, you'll learn her name is "Amazon" and the pups were named after rivers as well. in addition to Amazon and her pups, two other dogs were rescued from that location as well

I have been following their channel (Hope for Paws) for a couple of years...they do fantastic work! Loreta's ability to calm and bond with an animal is unworldly, and if I was an animal in need of rescue I would hope they find me.

The mother had obviously been socialized at some point. No dog (even labs) would let people that close to the pups if they hadn't been socialized.

When you gain a labradors deep trust they will trust only you for the rest of their life. My beautiful black lab flynn was abused by his breeder at a puppy farm in Scarborough UK and I believe when he came to me he bonded with me so much as he's greatful for me saving him from the torture he suffered as a puppy. Now he's constantly at my side and always feels much safer when he's touching me. That's the deep trust we share and nothing or no one can break us.

I did notice that, and though it was great they saved her and her pups, I felt bad that they were all about to be taken away from her forever… I hope whoever adopted her had the humanity to adopt at least one of her pups with her.
That's not a smile, that's just the dog attempting to relieve her stress through panting. She didn't know what was going on, but by that point her instincts likely told her that if the humans were going to harm her pups they would've done so already.
I never saw any dog 🐕🐶 breed attached & understands so easily. Goldies & labs are always gentle & smart.
Lol the power of a cheeseburger, you can see the pups tumbling off her as she gets up and goes toward the prize!

At one point she looked so worried you were stealing her precious babies. Then she looked and was wondering where this 'rescue ' was going. When she realised all her babies were close by she was happier, then when she was reunited with her babies she was definately more settled. So at the end you saw a big smile on her face, safe with her new family and her babies going to New homes. It's all in the face. You can tell so much with the looks you get.

This made me cry. These beautiful dogs are just so innocent, it breaks my heart that there are so many homeless/stray dogs in America. Thank goodness there’s good people trying to make a difference.

I'm so happy you rescued her and her darling little puppies. She was really nervous at first, but you could tell she wanted to trust everybody. Being a new mommie she's taking a big step with her babies to total strangers. Once she realized she felt safer watching what you were doing with each newborn. Putting them all together and she saw you weren't harming her babies. I think that gave her comfort to trust. At the end of the video when her puppies were bigger and surrounded by them she looked so happy and very comfy. Good job everybody and God bless.
