- When stand-up comedian @IlizasComedy lost her beloved dog Blanche, she waited for a sign to adopt again - and then she met Tian Fu. This tiny, scared dog needed a forever home after being rescued from the meat trade, and Iliza cried happy tears knowing she was the one. Tian Fu was terrified of Iliza's husband at first, but now she melts in his lap every day and has the best life ❤️

@@KeweenawPatriot Indians are mostly veg since generations. Asia Pacific has the highest percentage of vegetarians in the world. Israel has become the leading vegan/ veg country . But people in these places don't live in caves
We've watched all your specials and we loved seeing Blanche making her appearances. It just made the whole process seem so human. I'm happy for both you and Tian Fu (and your stalwart husband). We too have a rescue and it's been a life changing experience. Much love to all.
Well, this lady is an utter love and her hubby is adorable and her compassion and grief over what her baby went through before coming into her life broke my heart and made me adore her forever.

Awww.. we also adopted a small bashful rescue dog that was the one that was scared and hiding in the crate. She also was scared of my teddy bear of a husband for a while and adores him now. It is so satisfying to help a dog like this. I adore her so much.
I didn't need to see this. I was going to have a good Friday. But now I'm in a pond of tears ☹

Iliza. I now love you more then I did before. My rescue is a mini schnauzer(sorta, don't tell him, he thinks he's a starship captain. We have two other Goldendoodles, one about 35 lbs. and the other about 120 lbs., and they both answer to him without question, and follow him all over everywhere. It's hilarious. Pets are a gift from God to learn and experience unconditional love. It hurts like hell when one is lost, or passes, but he/she is now in the heaven God has for them, and has played the part God had for them to play. It is in feeling the loss, we grieve, and see the need to fill that void of unconditional love that only a dog (or maybe even a cat,) can give.

What a lucky dog to find such shading humans to call family, you can just tell these folks are true loving hearts and animal lovers. It's so hard to lose a pet because they are or children but as a previous rescuer i know how difficult it is to find grrat lifetime homes so i believe we actually honor the memory of our lost babies when we open our hearts to a new very needy baby not to replace the love we lost but to fall in love again. Tien Fu is even luckier because she was bound for food, a disgusting practice that breaks mt heart, bit i eat no meat. Great Dodo

I gladly give this video a thumbs up because I know it is a beautiful story of how a dog faced with tragedy is rescued by a woman who has suffered the loss of a beloved furbaby. I could not watch the video because I already know that I will just bawl my eyes out if I was to watch it.
Can’t have a pet right now because of my apartment doesn’t allow them unless they are ESA’s or Service Anima, but I do miss my precious Chewy. He was my good boy that was happy. He pasted away in September of 2015, leaving his paw prints behind. I just hope he is my little Guardian Angel now

So happy you found each other. Who can blame Tian Fu for being guarded after what she went through. The marks around her mouth still show where it was tied shut while waiting to go to the meat market.
It looks like a Tibetan spaniel, and that would explain acting like the sherif of the backyards because they are guard and alert dogs. What a lovely story!

Sometimes you rescue the dog, sometimes the dog rescues you.
When she was first rescued by you, she had a line around her muzzle which indicated how she had been kept quiet.
So glad to see that you turned her life around.
She may appear not to know her name sometimes, but that is how many Asian breeds are like - they have their own minds.
