Wow....what an incredible mom she is!
Especially the fact there was not even a single still birth or issue during the birthing process is amazing in itself.

Lisa, we had a male foster dog that was like that! He was an ex-bait dog from dogfighting here in my city, and he still loved all people. He adored my younger sister and would cuddle with her for hours. She was the only one allowed to walk Kane on his leash because he was so gentle with her and used all his strength with the rest of my family. Similarly, he also would jump up and hug the rest of us (he was emaciated and went from 43 to 65 pounds in the months we had him), but he would not hug my sister since she was 14 and weighed about as much as Kane did. Kane waited to hug her the week he was leaving for his forever home because he didn't want to hurt her but when she begged him to hug her at least once before he left.

She was a skeleton with barely any hair full of scars but now she is a fat (not too fat) happy dog with all her fur back that is hiding most of her scars now.

Fourteen puppies, no stillborn is wonderful, when you get bigger and bigger litters the likelihood just increases.
You can see she loves her caretaker dearly. 🥰
That was my thought about all those puppies... To have 14 without any complications is just incredible.
We had a dog like this she got pregnant 3 times during her lifetime and used to have 11 to 13 puppies each time all were healthy and survived but she was one of a kind dog never had another like her
Yeah I was surprised and over the moon that they all survived.
Yeah, generally you see complications with a couple when there are so many but it sounds like they were all healthy which is awesome!
That's what I was thinking, you usually lose some in a litter that big because some of the babies don't get enough nutrients during development, there just isn't enough to go around, truly a miracle.
We named our dogs Zara and Pebbles!!! Pebbles is with us and Zara passed a few months ago. What are the odds!! Beautiful foster mom and happy life for her puppies and so happy Zara (formerly Pebbles) was adopted by a wonderful family!!!
Seeing that bond between Zara and her little boy is what makes rescue so rewarding. Hats off to the foster mum for handling such a huge litter on her first go....and being able to say goodbye. Biggest I've helped in was 19, and it was insane!
I wouldn't be able to say good-bye and would have to keep all 15.
Zara was so good with him, and vice versa!!

Everyone knows that dogs can’t give birth up to 101 pups. This dog giving birth to 14 pups is a blessing but it’s not that very common as some dogs only have up to 3-6 puppies
My gosh, she was like Perdita from 101 Dalmatians having so many puppies. Honestly that scene of the puppies going down the stairs in this video was like from the movie. It’s amazing and adorable at the same time

I adopted a dog in a restaurant at the ocean. I didn't knew she was pregnant. She gave birth to 7 puppys under my table in my motorhome. That was really a stressful but also a beautiful time and I miss my little boys and girls until today. 💖 With the help of a animal rights group I found loving forever homes for 4 in Germany, 2 have found homes here and 1 stays with me. I got many pictures and videos of all of them. 💖❤💖

I would love to see pictures! I wasn't able to adopt my pups out and still have 10 from the original litter plus one that was dumped here. I love them all! They each have their own personality.

My families old dog, Winnie, was a rescue. When we got her, she was pregnant, and legit the day we went to pick her up, she gave birth also to 14 puppies, of which we took them all. Winnie was so sick and malnutritioned that my mom was up every 4 hours to hand feed all of the puppies and such. Winnie was one of the most incredible dogs we’ve ever had, and the people who adopted the puppies when it was time said that those puppies were some of the most amazing dogs they ever had. I’m sure Zara’s puppies will be such amazing companions for people, and so glad Zara had a safe place to be a mom in 🥰

Fortunately, many animals are rescued by animal lovers every year. Some animals are treated and recover, or are rescued from difficult situations and return to nature. Some animals disappear into the wild as if they are running away, while others show their gratitude to the humans who helped them before parting. Unfortunately- not enough animals are adopted over the amount of people buying purebreds and pedigree breeds- not to mention the exotic pet trade. We cannot ignore the millions of animals being ignored/neglected and abused.
This is disgusting! Most of those poor babies will probably end up being euthanized because of the overpopulation of animals that end up in shelters. It angers me to think about how many irresponsible and ignorant pet owners there are out there in this world. Just like the Mama, they will probably be taken in while they are cute and little, but then once they get older and become mature dogs, they will just be abandoned, thrown out into the streets and hit by cars, attacked by wildlife, or abused by some evil monster we call "human beings" and then the others will end up in a shelter just like Mama did. I rescued a stray cat who was emaciated. When she started filling out, she looked pregnant and I got panicky. I made a deal with her (🙄), you have 1 or 2 kittens and we’ll keep them. I knew I would never be able to just hand kittens off to someone, so PLEASE don’t have 12…
End result: She wasn’t pregnant, in fact, she was spayed. She was just gaining much needed weight, starting in the middle. Phew!!!

@@lordfarquaad537 Same happened to a collegue of my mom. And the cat was with us when she gave birth, we were watching her while he was gone. She had 4 healthy kittens and 1 sick one that didn't make it. After the kittens were old enough to get adopted, she got spayed so this couldn't happen again.

Kelpies are fantastic, they have very strong bonds with their owners. I love my boy more than any other dog I’ve ever had.
When you watch a new mother do well with her pups and show her nurturing side, you know she’ll be very good with children. They will watch over the children and protect them also. 👍☺️

I'm happy the mom was rescued and she and her puppies were healthy and all adopted. Do I wish the Dodo, with over 10 million subscribers, would do more to truly educate....absolutely! Do I think most commenters see nothing more than the obvious....that too. I do understand how you feel but I don't know how much good it does to be angry at individuals who did nothing more than think this video was "adorable".

StarGazer, she was a foster which means she came from a shelter. She's been adopted and I'm sure they had her fixed. These people are working to help these issues.. chill.

What a good mama. She seems like a perfect doggie for the little boy, wyatt. I love puppies so much! I haven't had any in sooo long. It's probably been 20 years since I had a litter of puppies in my life. I've got 2 kids now and I want them, especially my 8 year old daughter, to experience the joy of having puppies everywhere and to experience the birth of them. I was lucky enough to when I was their age. I think it's important for children to have that experience when they are young.
The best way to do that is to foster a pregnant dog as in this video. They're so cute!!!!

Looks exactly like my dog that went missing a few years back too, part of me was hopeful but we're in the UK. My girl was a rottie husky cross, we used to just jokingly call her a kelpie
The timing of Wyatt & Zara's meeting was perfect. She'd have been relieved to have seen the back of all that work, but missing being a "hands on" mum. So now she gets to have all the good things about being a mum without all the exhausting things to go with it! He is perfect for her. You can see his love and respect for her in his body language ♥️. That's the perfect ending to one heck of a story!
I thought having 4 kids in 5½ years (all singletons) was hectic enough! Even years of that wouldn't prepare me for 14 over 8-10 weeks 😉😂
Zara did such a good job, she kept all those adorable babies healthy and happy! She absolutely earned her wonderful family and her new best friend!

Mutt puppies like that are the absolute best ones to get…so healthy usually and just easygoing. I got a puppy that looked a lot like the mama dog and she was the very best doggo I’ve ever had. She lived to 16 and was never sick a day in her life….died at home, in her sleep. Still miss her!

I had a rescue mutt that lived to be 19! Sweetest dog ever. I really don’t understand people paying hundreds of dollars for a purebred with more health and behavior problems while shelter dogs are in need of homes.

I was about as old as this lady's son when I got my old dog, 18 years later she's gone. It is crazy to think how those years passed by.
To be fair it's really sad that dogs don't live longer they are such lifesavers for some people

Are you aware that there is whole lot of dogs in the world that have no home nor anybody to spay & neuter them...right ? @@Stargazer69 She fostered the dog after it was already pregnant. The dog had healthy puppies which found a home and so did the mother. The outcome could have been very different. Yes spaying and neutering is a smart decision but this dog was already pregnant when the foster mom received her. There's not a lot of happy endings in life lately so I enjoy one when I hear it. I'm sorry you aren't able to look at things from a positive perspective, I pray🙏🏼 God blesses you and shows you that there is good in this world.
This dog looks exactly my Molly! Molly was a pregnant stray that I took in. She gave birth to ten babies and was such a good Momma. I found a home for all the puppies but I kept one of Molly's two sons and named him Max. That was back in 2005. Molly passed in 2014 and our Max passed just this past October. These dogs gave us so much joy and are so missed. 💔
While I'm so sorry for your loses, you know, as well as I do, that you gave your pups love, safety and well-being. They thrived, and you did, too. Goodbye is the toughest reality in life, but take comfort in your memories. They will last for the rest of your life. 🐾
@@maryzambrana7141 Yes, they certainly will! It was a privilege to love and care for them. The fact that we took them into our home and gave them the love they deserved gives me more than enough satisfaction than I could ever have imagined. I still have four stray kitties that I took in to care for and love. My husband passed away in July so my furbabies have been such a blessing as they give me a purpose to keep going.
I love how this female dog had touched so many lives in such a loving and positive manner. :~)

My first dog I had as a child had 15 pups! One more than this video. It's amazing how they can carry so many!
Our girl just gave birth to 14 puppies yesterday!!! The story sounds very similar to ours-a couple puppies at a time and each time thinking she was done but no she had 14. I hope my poor Remi can keep up but we are ready to step in and help when she needs it. This gives me hope seeing how Zara did so well!
She keeps that up she might break the 101 dalmatians record.

I’ve had my poodle mix (Max) since I was 8 or 9 years old and my toy poodle (Charlie) since I was 10. I’m now 19 almost 20! My boys have spent almost my entire life with me! and it’s absolutely astonishing the relationship we’ve built together over the years. They truly are my best friends and they’ve watched over me and protected me while I was growing up I couldn’t have asked for a bigger blessing 😩😭❤️ My mom and I struggle with our mental health and I can truly say that these dogs have saved us just as much as we have saved them! PLS RESCUE AND DONT SHOP! I believe that rescue dogs have a stronger built relationship and love with you bc of where they came from and that bond is one of the strongest type of love you can ever feel from an animal.
