Oh my God I am in tears right now. this came a a perfect time for me. I have been struggling with my 10 year old daughter (step daughter) and I could not understand or did not know how to handle the challenges we have been having. This has made me realize that I am the adult in this situation, and she is the child, this was so helpful. Great content and God bless

Beautiful conversation indeed. I have a 2year old daughter and I used to worry that I won't find a man who will love her as much as I do. But to hear another woman saying "My son is my everything" (even though he is not her biological son), it gives me hope that my husband is out there and when the timing is right- God will make it happen. I was referred to by a friend. I’m currently in a relationship with someone that has a child outside the relationship. I must say that this video was so informative. It’s not easy at all. My boyfriend’s baby mama is really spreading the negative energy and she’s making this whole process difficult for me. She would call and lie that the child is sick and making unnecessary demands just to ruin our moments and stress my man out. Sometimes she would deny mans access to the baby. I know she might be hurting but she’s not helping. I wish she could be open minded to this and put her differences aside and co-parent. Sometimes mans want to stop reaching out but I’m always there to encourage and advise him to do it for his child.

I think the biggest take away for me in this video is that boundaries are important and that the partner with the child needs to set the tone for how things will progress with the co-parenting

This was a very interesting conversation and I am so glad to hear from another young lady how she is going about it. I definately want to go about things in a less chaotic manner and be mature about it all, especially when I feel like the mom isn't. Thank you Katlego for the advice about being the bigger person when the other party isn't coming correct. I think keeping the conversations all about the kid is really important, for both parents and always respecting the others boundaries.
