Thanks, I appreciate the positive feedback! Congrats on your new super73, you’re gonna love it. As you get more comfortable, it gets easier and easier to ride with traffic 👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼
It's been getting down to 19° here in Reno on my rides, & thank God I really planned & invested in good budget friendly winter gear, I wear a snow pants/bib combo, wind breaker, winter jacket, insulated Balaclava, heated gloves, thermal socks, handlebar mitts & a full helmet, I can ride 2-3 hrs & feel fine. The Snow Pants were like $35 on Amazon, Arctrix brand or something like that(Amazon), the insulated balaclava & handlebar mitts are Rock Bros.(On Amazon) I just bought an insta360 X3 to start filming my rides, I have 3 e-Bikes & ride full time, so might as well film my crazy & interesting rides here in Reno! 😂
I'm glad you're prepared for the rides because it gets brutal when it starts dipping below 20. We've just had a few days like that and I'm so happy I invested in cold weather gear! It maybe bulky and a pain in the ass to get on and off but it beats taking the NYC Subway! Good luck with the filming! It's always fun recording and trying to catch the crazy stuff we see. If you're looking for a good setup video check out @erockrodz . He just did a video on his setup and it really helped me out!
Great vlog. Used to live over the river from you in Hoboken. Back in the UK now and have the Super 73 rx. I've done the torque update but it's been too wet to try it out. Is there a noticeable difference? Keep up the great work.
Thanks for watching the video and the support, I appreciate ya! Hoboken is an awesome place to live because it's so close to the city, the food scene is amazing, and is quite a beautiful area. How are you finding living in the UK compared to Hoboken? There's definitely a noticeable difference when using the throttle. In my first impressions video there's a chart I put up and I believe it's a 12-25% increase in acceleration. You'll really notice it from 5-25mph. I feel that some of the videos exaggerate when they say "it wants to fly out from under you". I was pleasantly surprised by the update. Thank you again, I'll do my best to keep up with the weekly releases!
@@eyebahnrides Thank you. I'm originally From England but loved in Hoboken for 12 years. Really miss Hoboken. Still my spiritual home. Keep up the great work with the vlogs. 👍🏼👍🏼
Ivan, just going back on the videos till the new one comes out. Just wanted to say I love your commentary is absolutely magnificent! I do have one question though, is your mic on the inside of the helmet or under the jacket? Your so crisp and clear on every single video. I noticed a velcro strip I can put on the inside front on my helmet and I have been wanting tonask you if that's where you put yours? I understand if that's your secret.... lol. Ride That Tasty Wave
Thanks for going down the list lol, I hope you can see some sort of progress as we get to the newer episodes 🙏🏼! hahaha no secrets here, please use whatever information I'm putting out to help. It was thanks to my fellow TH-camrs I have the set up I have . If you look at my newer videos you can see its off to the side a little. When I had it directly in the front of the helmet and it sounded good but it kept picking up my breathing. I thought it was kinda creepy to hear that sooooo I moved it off to the side. Depending on the helmet I'm wearing, I control the audio gain on my camera. For example, I'll kill the gain on my Icon Airflite, but I'll boost the gain on my POC Coron, and I'll keep it neutral on the TSG Pass Pro. You can really see the cable running up the mount in the intro of this video: th-cam.com/video/8VSskCEmb_o/w-d-xo.html Also, the microphone I use is Purple Panda Lavelier Mic Kit: amzn.to/3I3UA3w I hope this helps!

Thanks for watching, much appreciated! Based on what I've been told, the cold affects the range and the batteries ability to provide power for the motors. As a result, we see shorter rides and slower speeds.

welcome and thanks for watching one of the first videos on the channel, I'm glad you enjoyed it! Yup, I'm using the Blain handlebars in this video. @@eyebahnrides I was actually thinking about doing that...haha! Ok, so after about 50 odd miles with the new bars, I can report that all is A-OK on my end. I definitely LOVE the aesthetics and feels more "planted" to me if that makes sense.
I’m actually looking for some heated gloves. Do the gloves you have actually work with touch screens? My current gloves got worn out and the touch screen fabric doesn’t work anymore smh Also, is it easy to ride with 1 finger hovering over the brakes with these gloves?
To be honest I haven’t gotten to try if it does since I don’t really operate my phone when I’m riding. I’ll try when I get home tonight. As for ease of use with one finger on the brake and one on the throttle, it’s a yes. The inside doesn’t feel so loose like Some of my other gloves. I also feel like I can properly grip the handle bars without that annoying feeling of excess fabric scrunching at the palm.
Thanks for watching, I appreciate ya. Here’s the link for the gloves. Wasoto Heated Gloves: amzn.to/3VlwHYP . I’ve returned and exchanged a few before deciding to try these out. They’ve been really good and have held up to daily riding!
App is called “Speed GPS”. I chose because it showed up really nicely on camera with the large numbers. I also liked that I could scale it to 60mph and there’s a ring around it that shows how close we get.
