- It turns out the Ancient One split reality into two timelines the moment Stephen used the Eye of Agamotto to travel back in time using dark magic. This allowed two Stephens to exist in one universe simultaneously, and shortly after learning this, the Doctor Stranges come face to face. One fights for the sake of the universe, and the other fights to save Christine by reversing that absolute point in time. It's a brutal battle between the two, with dark Stephen coming out victorious as he absorbs the power of his counterpart. Marvel Studios' What if...? For me, his “what if..?” is the best. We got to see him at his lowest, destroyed/absorbs beings and destroyed the universe he lives in, in an attempt to save his lover and in the end he was redeemed with the guardians of the multiverse battle against Ultron
I feel like it. They really needed him in the end. Him being one of the main reasons they survived ultron kinda goes hand and hand with his story and why he needed to become dr. Strange…stuff like this is what he was destined to do in a sense

He had a protection spell and supreme strange was trying to absorb him, he needed his soul to complete his transition,so he wasn't as powerful here until he absorbed Dr strange
This was Strange Surpreme before he got his full power. He had to absorb the doctor to become powerful to the point where he can fight Infinity Ultron.
Let's just appreciate Wong for casting the Guardian Vishanti spell which basically saved all the Guardians of the Multiverse.

The studio was gunning for Joaquin Phoenix originally, but he didn't want to stay committed to a Franchise as big as this.

I love the metaphor of the fight. Strange sacrificing everything, even himself and then some, just to lose it all in the end anyway.
Doctor Strange is such an incredible character - from his awe-inspiring magical abilities to his razor-sharp wit, I can't get enough of him! The way he approaches every challenge with such intelligence and creativity is truly inspiring, and I love how he's always pushing the boundaries of what's possible. Plus, his cape is just the coolest thing ever! I'm constantly in awe of Doctor Strange and everything he can do. He's hands down one of my all-time favorite superheroes!

that's because SS was trying to absorb him and not destroy him. The only reason he didnt get instantly absorbed was the shield that wong gave him. otherwise there wouldnt even have been a fight.
Now that Strange Supreme is now in the MCU. I'm curious about his monster form. He's supposed to have this chimera monster form that's just incredibly horrifying and really cool.

Surprisingly dark , for a Marvel anime
This one's my favorite out of the other solos because it managed to be simple and universal in scale at the same time. It shows how much a man can go for love, it shows Strange as a flawed character who was lost but then redeemed later on and the storytelling glued me to my seat.
